Brielle sighed sitting down on the court with her legs stretched out in front of her. She had just finished up with the big 3 and now she was watching them practice. She was a ball of nerves. She was nervous that this might be the last time she went out on the court as a part of the Thunder organization and at the same time she was nervous for Blake.
They had spent the night last night holding each other and fell asleep not too much longer after they had admitted just how they felt to each other. Brielle smiled thinking about waking up all tangled up with Blake. She could definitely get used to that.
“What’s that smile for?” Westbrook asked catching a basketball before it hit her.
“Sorry. Just thinking,” Brielle smiled sheepishly.
“Yeah yeah yeah well tonight you’re a Thunder fan remember that,” Westbrook smiled knowingly at her.
“I know and my heart is here I will work on my head,” Brielle said leaning over her outstretched legs.
“You’re good for him I hope he realizes that,” Westbrook said tossing the ball back over to the shooting coach and sitting down next to Brielle.
“I think he does,” Brielle nodded.
“He doesn’t have the best of reputations. Just know whatever happens with you and all of us in the offseason you have a team full of brothers that will be there to kick his ass if he hurts you,” Westbrook said seriously.
“Thanks Russ. I think the only one he might even slightly be intimidated by is Perkins,” Brielle laughed.
“With good reason. I would be too,” Westbrook smiled.
“Russ let’s go,” Kevin yelled at his teammate.
“I mean what I said,” Westbrook smiled at her before jumping up and rejoining his teammates.
Brielle smiled watching him walk off. She had a lot of friends in Oklahoma City that was for sure. She looked up and saw the Clippers players starting to gather around in the upper level. She could see Doc in the middle of them and all of the players had their backs to the court. She of course could tell which one was Blake right off.
As they began to disperse and start heading down to the court the Thunder players were making their way off the court. Brielle walked over to the bench and grabbed her backpack and the laptop she had out earlier and slung her bag over her shoulder. She looked back where the Clipper players were walking and smiled at Chris and DJ who were both smiling at her.
Blake had already lined up on the other side of the court and was too far away for Brielle to tell if he had noticed her or not. She turned and headed down the tunnel the same way the Thunder players had gone just before her. It was time to get focused. She had a job to do.

At halftime things were crazy for Brielle. In the midst of treating a few minor injuries some of the players had sustained during the first half she was racking her brain trying to think of how she was going to handle Blake. The score was close at this point, but Blake had been having a crappy game and was already in foul trouble. She couldn’t put her finger on it, but this game was just different than the rest of the series had been.
