“I don’t want to go back to work,” Brielle sighed buckling her seatbelt as Blake sat down next to her and buckled his.

“I’d give anything to be able to go back to work,” Blake said with a pointed look.

“I know. I’m sorry. I’ll stop whining,” Brielle offered with an apologetic smile. “I just kinda liked being locked away with you for a while,”

“I did too. The offseason will be here soon,” Blake smiled grabbing her hand as the plane started to taxi down the runway.

“I know. What are you doing this year?”

“I’m open to anything. Where do you wanna go?” Blake asked getting comfortable in his seat as the plane lifted off the ground.

“Somewhere warm,” Brielle said thinking out loud. “What about Costa Rica?”

“That would be nice. We should probably go early in the offseason,” Blake reasoned.

“Well wouldn’t that make the most sense to go early if I am gonna looking for a new job?” Brielle smirked at him.

“You have a point,” Blake smiled looking over at her. “I’ve been meaning to talk to you about that again. I’ve been a little selfish I think when it comes to all of that. If you do decide to stay in Oklahoma we will figure it out,”

“How are we going to ever know if we will truly work if we aren’t in the same place?” Brielle asked.

“We’ll figure it out. We play OKC frequently in the season already. I’m not trying to tell you not to move, believe me, I just want you to be happy and I don’t want you to do it just because you feel that it’s what I want,” Blake explained.

“I know and if it wasn’t what I wanted I wouldn’t do it,”

“Okay,” Blake nodded. “Get some sleep. It might be all you get for a week or so,” Blake laughed.

“No kidding,” Brielle sighed leaning back into her seat and closing her eyes.

Blake did the same and before either one of them knew it they were landing in San Antonio.

“Brie,” Blake whispered shaking her.

“We here?” Brielle rasped.

“Yeah. How are we doing this?” Blake asked stretching his arms over his head.

“We’re staying in the same hotel as the team, you’re just staying with me in my room,” Brielle said unbuckling and grabbing her bag. “I already get a rental it’s a perk of the job,” Brielle smirked at him.

“Uh huh. I’m starting to think you have it better than I do,” Blake laughed getting up and stepping into the aisle waiting for Brielle to get out ahead of him.
