“You do realize we’re only going to be gone for a little over a week right?” Blake asked staring at the three large suitcases Brielle was filling for their trip.

“I know. I need stuff for the vacation and stuff for when we go back to Oklahoma,” Brielle defended.

The two had decided they were going to fly back to Oklahoma so they could get Brielle’s house together and get everything moved to LA before preseason practices started. Brielle still hadn’t met with the training staff. She hadn’t told Blake yet, but she was thinking about just taking the year off and adjusting to her new home or maybe she could start helping out after she had been in LA for a little while.

“You have a suitcase just for shoes?” Blake asked laughing.

“Seriously? Go pack your stuff,” Brielle said glaring up at him.

“I’m already done,” Blake said sitting down on the only empty spot on the bed. “One suitcase was pretty easy to pack.

“Well you’re a guy,” Brielle said setting a stack of t-shirts into one of the suitcases.

“I am,” Blake nodded watching as Brielle grabbed a pink bag out of the closet and packed it.

“What’s that?” Blake asked trying to look at where the pink bag was from.

“None of your business,” Brielle said smacking his hand. “I should just leave it though since I’m packing too much,” She said mocking him.

Blake reached over and grabbed her waist pulling her down on top of him.

“I love you. I don’t care if you pack everything you own here I was just messing with you,” Blake smiled up at her.

“I love you too,” Brielle said planting a sweet kiss on his lips. “But I need to finish packing if we’re leaving here at three in the morning,”

“Don’t remind me,” Blake said making a face as she pushed off him and stood up.

“You made the travel arrangements,” Brielle called from the closet.

“I did it so I wouldn’t be stopped by fans the whole way,” Blake yelled back pulling his iPhone out of his pocket.

“You act like I’m bothered by that,” Brielle smirked at him.

“You might not be, but it’s the small amount of offseason time I actually get and as much as I love my fans and appreciate the support I really just want some time with just you,” Blake said looking up over his phone at her.

“I understand that, but I also knew what I was getting into when we got together. Privacy isn’t exactly a given with you,”

“True. It doesn’t mean I can’t try,” Blake said opening the email he was looking for.
