“Ready?” Brielle smiled as Sam opened the car door.
She was picking Sam up from the hotel so he didn’t have go into the game by himself. He was sitting with her and the other wives and girlfriends, while the Thunder players and Scott were sitting in a suite.
“I could’ve walked over,” Blake laughed at her as he got in.“I know, but this way you won’t get mauled by fans in the process,” Brielle said as she started the drive across the street.
“I’m in LA, I have long hair and a beard I think I might have made it,” Sam laughed.“Fine you have a point. What’s going on with the football stuff?” Brielle asked hearing Sam sigh.
“I don’t know. I kind of get the feeling like I played my last game as a Ram,” He said looking out the window at all of the people milling about outside the Staples Center.
“Awww really?” Brielle asked as she turned into the parking lot.“Yeah. I don’t know what to plan for to be honest. There’s a lot of talk about potentially going to Cleveland,” Sam explained waiving back at one of the security guards that had waived at he and Brielle.
“Really?” Brielle grimaced.
“It won’t be my first choice believe me,” Sam laughed.
“You need to come out here,” Brielle said pulling into one of the family parking spots.“Well I don’t see Rivers or Kaepernick going anywhere any time soon,” Sam laughed.
“There’s always the Raiders,” Brielle suggested laughing at the pained look on Sam’s face.
“Do you really hate me?”“I know it’s kind of where quarterbacks go to die,” Brielle laughed.
The two got out and started making their way in. They were walking down the hallway when she ran into the Thunder guys.
“You know you miss it,” Kevin laughed seeing Brielle look down toward the locker room.“You have no idea,” Brielle smiled up at him. “If only Oklahoma and California were a little closer,”
“Yeah your replacement is definitely not you,” Russell said joining the conversation.“Of course he isn’t. No one could be as awesome as this,” Brielle laughed.
“I wouldn’t go that far,” Kevin smirked at her. “Why didn’t you go to work for your boy’s team?”
“Well this happened for one,” Brielle said rubbing her growing baby bump. “And I’m not sure I want to work at the same place as my fiance. We’ll be married eventually and I don’t know how healthy that would be,”
“I couldn’t be around him all the time,” Serge said joining the group.
