As promised here's the second one for today!!Regardless what happens tonight please know I think you’re amazing both on and off the court. You and the guys over there deserve it just as much as anyone else. I’m so proud of you and I’m honored to be your girlfriend.
Blake smiled reading the text Brielle had sent him. They were on the bus headed over to the arena. Brielle had gotten up earlier that morning and headed back to her hotel to get ready for the game. She had sent him that text as she was walking in to the arena.
Blake sent her a quick text back.
You’re an amazing woman miss Brielle. Hopefully we’re flying back to LA tonight. If that’s the case you better be staying with me.
He slid his phone into his bag and pulled his headphones over his ears. He needed to get focused for the large task he had ahead of him. They had won here before it wasn’t like they couldn’t do it again.
As the bus pulled into the back of arena the guys lined up and filed out one by one. No one said anything to anyone. It was time to focus on doing what they had to do to beat the Thunder.

Brielle laughed watching KD and Westbrook go back and forth with each other. Shoot around had just ended for them which meant the Clippers would be taking the floor next. She was grabbing her stuff when a basketball came flying right by her. She turned around to look for where it came from and a smirking Blake winked at her.
She shook her head tossing the ball back to him before slinging her bag over her shoulder and catching up with the rest of the team.
“That’s enough of that,” Chris laughed at his teammate.
“Sorry. It slipped,” Blake shrugged.
“I bet it did,” Chris smirked at his friend.
Brielle ran up to her office to try and get some paperwork stuff done before the game started while the team was gathered in the locker room doing team building stuff she didn’t need to be around for.
She had been at her desk for what felt like an hour but really had just been twenty minutes. She could still hear the basketballs bouncing against the hardwood floor telling her the Clippers were still on the court. She got up and looked out the window from her office that faced the court. They still hadn’t covered them up for the game. She immediately spotted Blake who was working on free throws with the shooting coach. He was making most of them but she could see the nerves wearing on him. It wouldn’t be obvious to anyone else but she knew Blake too well.
Brielle finished up what she had been working on and headed back downstairs. As she got down there the Clippers were walking off the court to the visitors locker room. She hurried and turned down the hall before Blake had a chance to see her. He needed to be focused on the game and not on her.
