The game was a horrible one for the Thunder and they were done for the season. Blake and Brielle had flown back to LA the next morning and were starting to get stuff together for their trip to Costa Rica. Brielle had met with the Clippers training staff and had a job offer she was going to think about during the offseason.
She was scared to commit to taking the job when she wasn’t sure how everything was going to work. She wanted to go on vacation with Blake and see how living together went before she accepted the job. Not that she thought anything was going to happen to the two of them she was just being her typical overly cautious self.
Brielle had called Jada Paul after the two of them had gotten back to LA. They set up time to sit and talk which is what Brielle was currently getting ready to do.
“Is she picking you up or do you want to take one of the cars?” Blake asked coming up behind Brielle. She was standing in front of the mirror in the bathroom putting the finishing touches on her makeup.
“She’s coming to get me. We need to get my car here,” Brielle said looking at him through the mirror.
“I can have it shipped here when we get back,” Blake offered.
“Yeah. We’ll talk about it later,” Brielle said as she finished getting ready and turned to face him. “What are you gonna do today?”
“Chris and I are going to DJ’s,” Blake said wrapping his arms around her.
“Be good,” Brielle smirked at him hearing the doorbell.
“We’re always good,” Blake smiled planting a sweet kiss on her lips as she pulled away.
“Uh huh,” Brielle sassed grabbing her purse as she headed down the stairs.
“We might still all be there when you’re done so one of you call one of us and we can figure it out from there,” Blake said following her down the stairs.
“Ok. I love you,” Brielle smiled hugging him.
“I love you too. Have fun,” Blake winked at her as she turned and opened the door.
“Hey girl. Ready?” Jada smiled at her as she waved at Blake.
“Yeah,” Brielle said saying another quick goodbye to Blake before following Jada to her car.
She got in the passenger seat and buckled up as Jada backed down the driveway.
“Are you enjoying the offseason?” Jada smiled over at her getting on the freeway.
“It’s different this time around,” Brielle laughed.
“Yeah. I’ve heard about that,” Jada said giving her a knowing glance.
