Y/N's POV

"Miss, aren't you going to get off? This is our last stop."

I'm brought out of my trance as I felt someone tapped me on the shoulder. Jolting in surprise, I looked up to see that it was the bus driver. The elderly man was looking at me with an expression that is a mixture of both confusion and concern.

"Are you okay, miss? Your whole face is burning red." He asked and it took me a few moments before I was able to nod.

"Y-yes, I am." I answered, clearing my throat after u head my voice unintentionally crack. I took a deep breath, my hands falling from my cheeks as I sighed in relief that I can feel myself calm down.

"I'm very sorry for the delay." I mumbled as I stood up and bowed to him slightly.
"It's quite alright. You better get going now." He dismissed, making me wordlessly nod and walk towards the front to get off.

Once my shoes met the gray asphalt of the sidewalk, I let out a huge sigh and breathe in deeply. I don't know what just happened there and I don't have any ideas either. I put my palm on my forehead, trying to feel my temperature, but it's normal, totally far from how hot it felt earlier. Is it possible for a fever to appear and disappear so quickly? I'd have to research that later.

Running a hand through my hair, I shook those irrelevant thoughts out of my head before turning and starting to walk towards mom's shop. There's a lot of people around. A collection of students, employees, tourists and even elderly ones. I tried to move around as quickly as I could without bumping into anyone and causing much trouble. As I looked around, I spotted a couple of friends sitting on a park bench, huddled so close together as if exchanging a top secret.

"-and he leaned in so close, like only two inches away from my face!" I overheard one of them say.
"And I swear, my face heated up so bad I thought I have a fever, but after sometime, it was already gone." 1.

At that, my ears perked up, now slightly more intrigued about what their conversation is about. I didn't mean to, but it's just that, it's quite similar to what just happened to me. I mean, what are the odds, right? I continued to walk, but this time, at a slightly slower pace.

"Wow, you must really hate him for that to happen."
"You bet I do! Ugh, there's nothing I wanna do than punch that face of his! I hate him so much my face turned red!"

I pursed my lips as I finally walked pass them, thinking of the girl's words. So, she turned red because she's mad at the guy? That must be it. It has to be the it for me, too. My face felt like that, after what happened because I was so mad. Well, it kind of made sense.

It's not fully dark yet, but colorful lights have filled the expanse of the streets already. It wasn't long before I reached the front of mom's shop. The place is buzzing with people going in and out of the ship, clutching brown paper bags containing foods and flowers.

Running a hand through my hair out of habit, to fix it, I pushed the clear doors open. The chimes that hung by it produced a pleasant sound. The mixed scent of coffee, pastry and flowers wafted over me and I unconsciously breathe it in, drowning myself in the calming scent.

I looked over to the counter and saw Minsu sitting behind it, or more like sleeping behind it. The boy's head is resting on his arms, facing to the side as soft puffs of breath left his slightly parted lips. Letting out a sigh, I walked towards him.

"Yah, Minsu. Stop slacking off!" I spoke before reaching over and poking his cheek.
"I-I'm not!" I stood back as he jerked and shot up, eyes looking around as he fixed his hair. His eyes landed on me and he gave a glare.

"Jie jie!" He called out, clearly annoyed, to which I just rolled my eyes out.
"What? Why are you even here?" I asked because usually, he'll be at home. I watched as he paused for a second, clearly confused and trying to remember.
