Y/N's POV

Soon enough, Yuxin and I finally arrived at the school's clinic. Luckily, it didn't take long because it was just by the next building. It would've been a disaster if it was the opposite. The entirety of our walk, Yuxin was heavily leaning on me. It was almost like I was carrying her.

Nonetheless, I refrained from saying anything about it. I was the one who insisted to take her, anyway. One of her arms is resting around my shoulder as I continued to assist her, Being mindful to not put any pressure on her waist since it's what's hurting.

I let out a sigh before reaching out and knocking on the door. Yuxin and I stood there for a few seconds, waiting to see if someone will open the door if someone's inside. A couple more seconds passed and nothing happened. Yuxin let out a small huff of discomfort and shuffled, her hold on my shoulder also tightening.

"Y/N..." She whispered in a whine, making me sigh and pat her on the back.
"Let's just go inside." I answered since there's no other choice. Well, except to let Yuxin writhe in pain, that is.

As I pushed the door open and poked my head in, my eyes narrowed at the sight if the assistant nurse, just sitting there behind the desk. She was idly filing her nails with her earphones plugged in. Mrs. Wu is nowhere to be found, that must be why this one's lazing around. I cleared my throat ands knocked on the door again, this time to get her attention.

"Excuse me." I spoke, voice dripping with slight annoyance.

"Yes?" She looked at me in boredom and rose a brow. I bit my lips as I fought the urge to retaliate. If only Yuxin isn't in pain, I would have.
"She needs help. Her waist is hurting."

The assistant nurse's gaze left me and it went towards Yuxin. At first, she looks confused but upon recognizing who I am with, her posture suddenly straightened and she immediately took her earphones off and stood up. She briskly walked towards us and looked Yuxin over before she glared at me.

"What did you do to Liu Yuxin?" She demanded and pointed at me, making me raise a brow.
"Nothing." I answered.
"Liar. You're Lee Y/N, right? Everyone knows how bad you treat Liu Yuxin." She accused, making me glare at her.

"Look, lady. I didn't do anything to her and you can even ask her. Focus on the task and help her instead." I snapped and gestured to Yuxin who is pretty much still in pain.

This nurse must be one of Yuxin's many fans. That would explain her actions and why she's so quick to blurt out empty accusations. Gladly, she didn't make anymore snide comments. But she still glared at me as she made a move to help Yuxin to a bed. I didn't say anything. That's her job, after all.

"Come on, I'll put you to bed, Liu Yuxin. While you? You can leave." The nurse said as she dismissed me, making me let out an annoyed huff. Can't she just act professional? I rolled my eyes but loosened my hold on Yuxin so they can go.

"Y-you're staying..." Yuxin spoke up as her hold on me slightly tightened.
"I'm sorry. She can't." The assistant nurse replied before I could. Is this lady for real? I rolled my eyes before turning back to Yuxin.

"Go on, I'll just wait outside." I nodded towards the bed and gave her a light nudge.

"B-but Y/N... you can't just leave me here, with her." She leaned closer and whispered, making the nurse eye us suspiciously.

I let out a huff. This is taking too long. All we came her for is some medication or ointment for Yuxin. Not for some petty argument with an assistant nurse who is undeniably crushing on Yuxin and she's like, already in her mid-twenties. It's understandable why Yuxin is kind of uncomfortable.
