Y/N's POV

I let out a small sigh as I wrung out the towel to get rid of the excess water. I then folded it before placing it on Liu Yuxin's forehead. Her fever has yet to come down.

"What the hell just happened to you?" I mumbled in wonder as I watched and observed her for a few moments.

I am still taken aback by what happened not even an hour ago. I've never seen her like that. She was crying, fragile and just out of it. I never even thought that she's capable of being like that.

The electricity has already come back moments ago, allowing me to finally move around the house. The storm, however, is still going on, even more aggressive outside. But at least now, the power's back. It is colder and the howls of the wind is also louder.

I've laid Liu Yuxin on the couch for the mean time as I don't think I'll be able to heave and put her upstairs. Speaking of, the clutters that I've heard earlier was because of the broken bowl and glass. She must've nudged it earlier when she was trying to get out. Luckily, she wasn't wounded by the shards.

Letting out another sigh, I stood up from where I was kneeling beside her and picked up the basin of water I've used. I cleaned everything up as quietly as I could as to not disturb her anymore. She's already worn-out, after all.

I can't deny that I'm feeling the slightest bit of guilt in me. I felt as though I have a fault in what happened, somehow. It's confusing. The stubborn part of my brain is insisting that it's not my fault because I didn't know what exactly happened and what caused it. I think I might be really going crazy.

I went towards the basement, just to get my papers and my pen. I wouldn't be comfortable leaving Liu Yuxin all on her own now. I don't want to risk the chance of that happening again. I set my self on the other couch and arranged everything so I would be able to work.

Writing was easier this time as I was trying hard to distract myself from everything. I just don't want to think of what's happening around me for a moment. I don't want to worry too much. I spent the next hours with my headphones on and just writing for my project. I don't know for how long I stayed like that, but by the time that I decided to stop, My hand is already aching badly and so is my neck from staying in one position for too long. But I didn't mind those for too long as I noticed that I've been able to fill out 3 and a half of paper.

I removed my headphones and laid on my back to rest for a bit. Even my eyes are starting to strain. I closed my eyes and let my body relax into the couch. In my opinion, I think I might be rushing too much with the project, but I also think that, that's better than doing nothing at all and rotting of boredom.

At the sound of an all too familiar groan, my eyes immediately opened and went towards Liu Yuxin. I sat up as I noticed that she's shuffling around while still groaning. I walked up to her and kneeled beside the couch to see her better. Her eyes slowly started to open then.

"Y/N...?" I heard her mumble as she squinted.
"Yeah?" I replied as I sat cross-legged on the carpet.

"What happened?" She groaned out as she gave up on trying to sit.
"I don't know... You tell me." I mumbled. Because it is true. I don't know what happened to her.

"Don't take it off." I stopped her as she tried to move the towel on her forehead.
"Your fever's still a bit high."

I sighed as I stood up to fix it. I grabbed the cloth before folding it again and placing it back on her head. She didn't say anything and just tried to blink away the haze in her eyes. She looks better now than she did the morning. But still not quite back to normal.
