Y/N's POV

"I think the colors should be darker, Fanfan." I commented as we looked through her drawings for the backdrops of the play.

"Right. Maybe grays then?" She suggested and I hummed.
"Yeah. Black is too harsh."

"Take... I don't even know what number we're even in anymore!" Shuxin whined out as she snapped the clapperboard.

My brows furrowed as I turned to them. As usual, we're having Drama practice for History period. Lin Fan and I are in the side of the stage while the others are rehearsing. And it appears to be not doing too well as they've been doing the same scene for the past few minutes.

"Yuxin, you're talking to Kong Xue'er. Look at her. Not behind her, to the side, or down on the floor." Ella Laoshi commented as she fanned herself with the script.
"Come on, you guys. We need to make progress here."

I let out a small sigh before turning back to what I'm doing. Conducting a play is hard enough on its own. What could make it harder is when the actors pretty much don't like each other. It slows the progress down and if it doesn't get fixed, it could be a lot of trouble.

"You know, why don't you just step in?" Lin Fan asked as she started to adjust the color of the drawings.

"It will be easier since you know exactly how you want the scene to play out and you know... it won't be that much difficult between you and Yuxin. Since you're together now. Finally." She then nudged me on the side with a teasing laugh.

I let out a groan and nudged her back as heat crept up my face. All of them has been going at it and teasing ever since lunch. The loudest one being Yu Yan, who I honestly think was just doing that in hopes that I'll forget about her and Daimeng.

"I told you countless times. It's too stressful, even for me. I don't want to just break down all of a sudden." I replied as I watched her work.
"Hmm, point taken." She hummed.

"Anyway... so you and Keran, huh? How's it?" I asked as I fiddled with my hair.
"Oh, it's really great! We haven't been caught by Mister Shang with the 'no PDA' rule." She answered excitedly, making me squint my eyes.

"Are you saying you guys make out everywhere?" I asked, ridiculed by the thought. My eyes narrowed even more as she turned a bright pink and bit her lips to hold back a grin. I let out a huff and facepalmed.
"Really? Come on." I groaned out.

"Hey, we don't make out every time. Sometimes we just talk and hide." She defended.
"At least we didn't get caught like Yu Yan and Daimeng." She pointed out.

"Point taken. But I'm really surprised about that. It's Yu Yan. And I didn't even know she likes someone." I spoke.

"I know, right? But there's a first for everything. Like you. Who would've thought you'll finally be dating, right?" She answered. "Which, by the way, you haven't even told me the details yet! How'd you two ended up together?"

I shrugged. "Honestly, it was sudden. We were both angry and arguing and it just burst out."

"Predictable." She commented, making my brows raise.
"You two, were too oblivious and passive. The jealousy is bound to build up sooner than later." She continued.

"Yeah, I guess." I just sighed.

"Lee Y/N!" I suddenly heard Ella Laoshi call out, making me turn to them.
"Yes?" I answered and raised my hand.

"Can you come here for a moment?" She replied.

"I'll check on those later, Fanfan." I told Lin Fan before I walked towards Ella Laoshi.
