35. The Run-In

Y/N's POV

"Y/N jie! You have visitors!"

I paused from writing as I heard Minsu call out to me and followed by his continuous knocking on the door. I'm in the basement as usual and writing. I looked at the clock and saw that it's already quarter to three in the afternoon. As far as I can remember, I don't have any visitors.

"Tell them, whoever they are, that I'm not home!" I yelled back at Minsu and didn't make a move to stand up from my seat.

I'm not really in the mood for human interaction and I'm feeling lazy. It takes great energy to tolerate people when you're an introvert. Besides, I don't really remember that I'll be having visitors today.

"It's Lin Fan jie and Yu Yan jie!" Minsu informed again and kept on knocking.
"Tell them I migrated to Pluto!" I groaned out and slumped further into my chair.

Although I'm a bit confused as to why they're here, my laziness is getting the best of me. Besides, we're going to meet in school tomorrow anyway. I'm sure that whatever they have to say can wait until then. But it appears as though I'm wrong as the knocking only intensified.

"Lee Y/N! Come out or I'll kick this door down!"

That was definitely Yu Yan. She's brutal enough to do that and everyone knows. I let out a groan and grudgingly stood up from my chair to walk towards the door. I know for sure that she won't hesitate to do that. As soon as I opened the door, I'm being pulled out of the room by the arm.

"Hey!" I protested as I nearly tripped.

"We haven't talked in days and that's all you're gonna say?" Lin Fan asked in disbelief before she whacked me on the head.
"Yeah, is that the right way to treat your friends?" Yu Yan added as she stood next to Lin Fan with her arms crossed.

I let out a huff and rolled my eyes as they continued to team up against me. They are both looking at me with their eyes narrowed and at that, I knew that it would be hard for me to get out of this trouble.

I guess I'm kind of really at fault, but a lot has happened for the past few days that I didn't have the time to hang out with them. I mean, I had to take care of Liu Yuxin for almost a week and at that time, there was also a freaking snow storm.

"You didn't even bother to message or call us to say if you're alive!" Lin Fan pointed out a bit over dramatic but I know she's quite upset about it.

"I'm really sorry, you guys. It's just that I've been really busy." I sighed out and gave them a smile.
"Busy, my foot! What could you possibly be busy about?" Yu Yan asked and rose a brow.

"She's been busy taking care of the President Liu!" Minsu interjected from where he's eating in the kitchen table.
"What?!" Lin Fan and Yu Yan choked out, eyes widening.

"Yup! The two of them were alone here, so Y/N jie was really busy." Minsu answered again and gave me a teasing look as he wiggled his brows. I glared back at him as Lin Fan and Yu Yan let out another gasp in surprise.

He hasn't been shutting up about that event ever since the day he decided that I like Liu Yuxin. He also has been using that against me, which of course, didn't work and all he got was a whack or two on the head, from me.

When he noticed my piercing glare on him, he gave a peace sign and a teasing smile before turning back to his plate of food. My lips itched to yell at him and give him another whack for being such a big mouth. But before I could do that, I'm once again being pulled by my arm.

"I even saw President Liu kissing Y/N jie before they left!" Minsu yelled out after us, making me turn back to him and glare.

I didn't know that he saw that. This is just getting more and more embarrassing for me as seconds pass. I could feel the familiar heat, occupying my face as Yu Yan stopped dragging me and she and Lin Fan looked at me in shock.
