Y/N's POV

"Xu Jiaqi stand more to the center. That's the fourth time!" I ordered as she got her blockings wrong again.
"Sorry! It's hard to tell because it's dim." She said and slightly bowed.

"Then make it work! Place a mark on the floor, count your steps, write it in your freaking palm! We have no time for this, from the top!" I pointed out before gesturing for Shuxin to mark the scene. "Yu Shuxin! Pay attention!"

"R-right! T-take number e-eight!" She stuttered out and snapped the clapperboard before running to the side.

I let out an exhausted sigh as I pinched the bridge of my nose. Breathe. I crossed my arms before proceeding to carefully watch them act out the scene. Why is it so hard to direct people these days? We've been here all day long and we're not even done with the run-through.

"Stop!" I ordered again and held up a hand. "Why can't you all just get it right? Now that Xu Jiaqi got the right blocking, Ge Xinyi didn't! Are you all messing with me? We've been going over this for the whole damn day!"

I couldn't help but get more irritated as I looked at them. I'm getting tired. Who the fuck wouldn't when they have been standing for almost all day, is sleep deprived and had to literally yell at people just to make them understand a simple instruction. It's like I am freaking managing kids instead of adults.

My eyes narrowed in on them as they all remained silent. "Is no one gonna answer?! Weren't you blabbering around and fooling while you should be listening? Even when I warned you all to stay quiet. I'm giving you the chance now, talk!"

"... sorry, president." Their quiet mumbled mixed with each other as they couldn't even meet my eyes.

"Goddamn fantastic! Because your sorry could definitely make up for all the lost time and energy!" I said, tome nothing but sarcastic and they winced.

"President Lee, don't you think we should all take a break so-" Keyin started, her voice low and clearly hesitant as she stood on the side.

"No. No one is gonna take a break until all gets it right. From the top." I cut her off and gave her a blank look. "If you can't get it right then you might as well forget about this whole play."

"T-take number n-nine!"

I know well that they all got their lines and positions memorized now. Ella Laoshi even managed to fully rehearse the whole play just weeks ago. What's so different now? IS it because Ella Laoshi isn't here today that they can just mess around with me?

Half way through the rehearsal, the smooth flow was interrupted as the speakers suddenly turned on and before long, a song started playing on it. What's this? Who the hell would even think that it's a good idea and practically disturb not just our practice, but also everyone else. Some inconsiderate fool.

The moment the person started singing, my brows furrowed before I scowled. Zeng Keni. Who even let her enter the campus? I quiet in self reserved fury as she continued to sing. She better not attempt something stupid or else I'm really going to end her once and for all. I'm not in the mood for petty plays.

"Oops baby, I love you~"

My jaw clenched as she finally finished. Why can't she just get a clue? And how is she still stuck in the delusion that we were ever together? Because we certainly didn't get to that. And my patience is slowly thinning out for her. I know her motives. Exactly why she's doing what she is.

"Lee Y/N, please report to the guidance office." Mister Shang's voice came through the speakers.

Great! As if this whole damn day couldn't get any worse. I slammed the script on the table before marching towards my things and snatching them. I could feel my face boiling in rage. I've given that damn Zeng Keni plenty chances to walk away without any damage. But for her, to be so shallow and even go here again. That's the last straw.
