Y/N's POV
I let out a groan as I plopped down on the living room couch. My body sinking into the soft cushion as I relaxed. This is probably if not, one of the best times of my life. With all my responsibilities done and nothing else to worry about, I could finally settle down and relax.
It's now Saturday afternoon. The performance was yesterday and it went well. More than well, actually. Our group managed to hook the second-place spot, just a sliver of a point less than the winner. But the result was definitely a lot better than what I thought and expected. It's crazy.
I haven't done anything all day. Purely just eating, sleeping or lounging around. And of course, there's nothing more exhausting than doing absolutely nothing. The others are so quiet in the group chat too. They must be busy or resting as well.
"Are you gonna stay there all day?" I looked up and saw Yiyun standing behind the couch and looking at me with disbelief.
"That's the plan. Any complaints?" I sarcastically answered and she reached over before throwing a pillow to my face.
"Yah! What was that for?" I complained before throwing it back at her.
"You've been slumped there all day. Get up." She pointed out but I didn't move from my spot."Give me a break! This is my chill time after a long while." I reasoned and shuffled away from her.
"I know, but you know what's going to break if you keep it up? Your bones. It's unhealthy to spend all day lying down." She walked around the couch and stood in front of me."I do it all the time and I'm still breathing." I remarked and lazily stretched out on the couch.
"Yah, you sarcastic whelp." She muttered in annoyance as she picked another pillow."Hey, hey! Throw that at me and I'll set Cloud loose on your things again." I threatened and narrowed my eyes at her.
"Argh! This is so frustrating!" She suddenly whined out as she threw the pillow to the opposite couch.
I stared at her for a couple more seconds. The gears on my head turning as I studied her strange behavior. It's strange enough that she's suddenly urging me to get up and be active when she isn't even active, herself. Is she having a problem? If yes then what could it be about?
"If I didn't know better, I'd think you're having relationship problems." I commented but what I didn't expect was for her to freeze up. My eyes widened in surprise and we locked eyes. Is she serious? "Holy shit... don't tell me..." I mumbled, still unblinking.
Before she could answer me, her phone suddenly rang, making her scramble up and search her pockets for it. Upon seeing the screen, her eyes visibly widened and her face tinted pink.
"U-umm, we'll talk later. I gotta take this!" She rambled before she ran up the stairs to take the call.
"Well, would you look at that..." I mumbled as I followed her with my eyes.
I chose to shake it off and returned to my previous position. At least now she won't be nagging at me and forcing me to do something. I was just about to sleep again when I heard a notification from my phone.
"Really?" I huffed and looked at it where I put it on the coffee table. I let out a groan before stretching my arm out to reach for it without leaving the couch. I opened it up and was greeted by messages.
