Keran's POV
It's a great day today! I could feel it in my bones. Or maybe it's just because there's no classes anymore. Which means more time to have and spent with the others before we head to university. The thought is sad but there's no good point in being sad about a thing that haven't even happened yet.
It's still early. But it's nothing new. I am always so early that sometimes, I'm the very first one to arrive at our classroom. One of the results of being friends with the school president and vice president. Their habits just rubs off on me.
I looked forward and a grin immediately stretched my lips. "Fanfan!" I called out before jogging towards her to catch up.
She turned to me and once she saw me, she grinned back and waved. "Good morning!"
"Good morning!" I answered and reached over to ruffle up her hair.
"Not my hair!" She complained with a whine and brushed my hand off."You still look pretty."
"Stop flattering me to get away." She huffed but a tint of red colored her cheeks.
Deciding to not make her anymore flustered, I just let out a laugh and started to lead her towards the classroom because contrary to Y/N's beliefs, we don't make out all the time.
"You're early today." I commented as we walked up the stairs.
"Oh, yeah. I'm planning to finish all my requirements so I'd be free until graduation." She replied and pointed to her bag. "And maybe have Y/N help me out on some of them.""Lucky..." I mumbled. "Yuxin rarely helps me with those things. She says I should do it on my own so I can learn." I said, making her let out a laugh.
"Too bad." She teased, making me huff and pout.
I was just about to give back a response but it was stopped when as soon as I opened the classroom door, a cold chill literally went up my spine, causing me to completely freeze up. And it seems that Lin Fan noticed it too as she also stopped.
I looked into the room and saw Yuxin sitting on her seat. All alone. It let out a huge breath before shaking my head. I got scared for nothing. But I can't deny that I'm the slightest bit weirded out to see her here. She'd usually be conducting a student council meeting and then wait for Y/n to arrive so they can go here together.
"Hey, Yuxin!" I greeted as Lin Fan and I walked towards her. Lin Fan and I shared a weirded out look as Yuxin remained quietly staring in front of the room as if she didn't even hear us.
"Why were you absent yesterday? You know, Y/N was really worried." Lin Fan commented. But Yuxin was still quiet.
My brows furrowed at that. Why isn't she saying anything and just ignoring us? I stepped in front of her and my jaw literally dropped to the ground as I saw her face. There's a really huge band-aid on her forehead, slightly being covered by her hair. What? When did she even get that?
"What's that on your face?" I blurted out and pointed at it. "Geez, Y/N's gonna freak once she sees it." I mumbled.
"See what?" Lin Fan interjected as she stepped next to me. "Woah..." She trailed off as she saw. "I mean... Ranran's right, Y/N's gonna freak out. What happened?"
But even after that, Yuxin remained quiet as if she can't even hear us or everything we just said. It feels like we're talking to a wall instead of an actual person. Maybe she's just not in the mood right now? That's the only thing I could pass as a reason for her behavior.
The sound of the door creaking open made me look at it. Only to see Y/N, whose eyes are focused on her phone and has yet to realize that we're here.
