Y/N's POV

"But Ella Laoshi! I could be a great asset to the club!"

"Is she serious?" Lin Fan muttered beside me.
"Obviously." I replied, tone in disbelief.
"I'm getting second hand embarrassment." Yu Yan added, making me nod and grimace.

Our class is now at the theater hall for our history class. Our lecture has actually ended already a couple of minutes ago and we still have about 15 minutes left before our next class.

So, we were just chilling around. That was until Kong Xue'er decided to open her mouth and started to complain about me, not letting her join the Drama Club. Now, all of us are watching as she tries to bargain with Ella Laoshi to let her on the club.

"Kong Xue'er, the Drama Club really is fully booked. We can't take any more members, as Lee Y/N said. I'm sure the other clubs would love to have you on their team." Ella Laoshi said, trying to make the girl understand why.

"Wait, just how many students are in your club?" Keran, who is sitting in front of us, asked, turning to look at me.
"About 150-200 people." I answered shortly, watching as Kong Xue'er started to argue again.

"Why are there so freaking many?!" Xiaotang exclaimed in pure disbelief. At that, I rolled my eyes and looked at her blankly.
"We are the Drama Club. Do you think after all those plays, we conducted, we only have 20 people for everything?" I asked back. I watched as her mouth opened and gaped in realization before she nodded.

"Holy shit! The Dance club only has a few members because Lisa Laoshi is very strict and picky. Even then, it's still stressful. I can't even imagine how stressful it must be for you." Keran commented, making me hum in agreement.

"Exactly why I don't want one more source of stress." I grumbled.

"I don't understand why you can't make an exception for me. I can dance, sing, rap and act. I got it all!" All attention went back to Kong Xue'er as her complaints grew slightly louder, making it sound like she's whining.

"I bet I'm even better than that Lee Y/N, you call president. I bet all she does is order everyone around and act like she's the highest being!" She continued.

Just like that, it all turned deadly silent. No mumbles, no squeaks, no sound, nothing. It didn't take long before the eyes previously watching Kong Xue'er, then turned to me. It was as if they are expecting me to say something. I kept my facial expression blank as my gaze remained on Kong Xue'er who is looking back at me. I raise a single brow at her before rolling my eyes and looking away.

"W-wait, what? Y/N, you're just gonna let her off?" Lin Fan uttered out in shock.
"Yah, Lee Y/N, don't tell me you are?" Yu Yan added.

"Lee Y/N, aren't you gonna say anything?" Ella Laoshi asked this time, also a bit shocked at my silence.
"Of course, she has nothing to say because it's true. I'm right, aren't I?" Kong Xue'er interjected, crossing her arms over her chest as she looked at me, smug about her actions.

I looked at her, lips pulling into a snide smirk as I, too, crossed my arms. "No. You're not. I'm not participating, because you are simply, not worth my time and energy."

"Holy hell! Kong Xue'er, do you want some water? Because you just got burned!" Keran laughed out, breaking the silence with her laughs.

"Y/N roasted you like a freaking pecking duck!" Xiaotang followed, the two of them laughing out loud.

"You might just need the whole Antarctica for that burn!" Lin Fan's head rested on my shoulder as she laughed as well.

"Now, are you done whining? If so, go back to your seat and shut your trap." I spoke, words directed to Kong Xue'er. My face went back to being blank as I stared at her. Her whole face is almost as red as her hair in humiliation. She glared heatedly at me as she stomped back to her seat and grudgingly sat down.
