Lin Fan's POV

"Did she just..." I mumbled in confusion.
"Yup." Xiaozhai replied in awe.

All of us stared at the now closed door. In shock of what Y/N just said and did. I could feel my whole head flushing. Did she just really set me up on a date? With the Lu Keran? For a moment, I really id thought that she was asking Keran out and I was a teensy bit hurt. But hell, I am not anymore! Not one bit.

We all snapped out of it as Liu Yuxin started moving and walking towards the door. Now all eyes are one her as she walked to Keran and suddenly whack her on the shoulder. It produced a sharp sound, even against Keran's fully clothed shoulder. That surely hurts.

"Ow! What was that for?" Keran groaned as she rubbed on her shoulder.
"Tsk..." That's all that came out of Yuxin's mouth before she followed out the door with Kong Xue'er behind her.

The room is left in silent anticipation as to what's going to happen next. And apart from that, I'm also feeling slightly awkward. Why the heck is Y/N so damn spontaneous? Like, what's gotten into her mind and made her suddenly set Keran and I up? What if Keran doesn't even want to do that? I'll appear as a clown.

A few minutes passed and no one made a move or sound. I let out a sigh and turned back to my desk where I've been doodling on. Slowly, the others started going back to their own businesses and the room broke into some conversations.

I could make out some of them that are about me. Most probably from Keran's fangirls. I would've stood up and said something to make them stop talking as if I'm not in the same room as them, but my flushed state prevented me from doing that.

I'm even too embarrassed to look back and see what Keran's expression is. The chances of her rejecting what Y/N just said and proposed, is so high that there's totally no chance that she'll agree. And then what? Would we stop being friends? But I don't want to...

"So... where should we go?"

My head snapped snap up and to the side as someone sat on the vacant seat. It's Keran and she's smiling, cheeks slightly red. I blinked dumbly at her. I don't understand what she said or even why she's talking to me now. Noticing my lack of response, she waved at my face.

"H-huh?" I mumbled dumbly as I snapped out of my thoughts.
"I asked where we should go." Her eyes crinkled as she let out a small laugh.
"Go where? F-for what?" I asked in confusion.

At that, she stopped laughing and there was a slight tilt to her smile. Nice going, Lin Fan. Did I say something wrong that made her react like that? now she's looking at me with her mouth slightly agape and her eyes are also wide. My mouth opened to take back what I said but I don't even know what to take back.

"Oh, umm, for the... date?" She answered quietly and bit her lips. My eyes widened and I felt the flush returning and painting my whole face red. So, she wants to go.
"But if you don't want to, I understand. Hehehe, d-don't think that I'm forcing-"

"W-wait, no! I do!" I exclaimed, making her stop and freeze.
"Umm, I... I mean I'd like... to go with you." I said after I cleared my throat. My face went hotter than it already was as I realized how eager I must've sounded.

I love you, Lee Y/N!

My grin stretched my lips as I looked at Keran. In my defense, she's also as flushed as I am. Soon, she probably turned shy as she covered her mouth and turned away from me. And I think it made her look cuter. She even has a dimple! The urge to reach out and poke it was there, but I held it back and turned back to my desk to continue drawing.

"Ooh! That looks good, what's that for?" She asked again after a while and leaned closer to get a better look.
"It's some rough sketches for the play's backdrops." I answered and picked it up to show her properly.
"What do you think?"
