Antonio stared up at the hologram in the Gamemakers area, watching as the Capitol Seal flashed across the sky. The faces of Valerie Golding, Fuse Satis, Ula Coral and Aissalyine Feristec flashed in the sky, before the Capitol Seal appeared once more and, with a final musical flourish, the seal dissappeared. Suddenly a young Gamemaker appeared in the doorway, his eyes wide.
“We know who tampered with the arena, sir.”
At those 8 words Antonio Silver bolted off his desk, sending papers flying across the room. He hurriedly followed the Gamemaker in front of him, his face set in a scowl. They had caught the culprit. He was incredibly glad he knew who it was so he could hang the bastard, but at the same time unease broiled in his stomach. Antonio had an uneasy feeling about this.
And rightfully so.
He heard shouts from through the corridor, shouts of what sounded like a girl screaming. Antonio heard the peacekeepers grunting as they struggled to restrain her, and he dashed forward hurriedly. He reached the door and swung it open immediately, and his eyes instantly took in the scene before him. Standing in front of him were two Peacekeepers, struggling as they held one arm each of a thrashing young girl. Her blonde hair whipped around her face as she shook her head and screamed, and her legs kicked at thin air as she attempted to escape. Antonio stared at the girl, and his stomach dropped.
No.
No, it couldn’t be.
Standing in front of Antonio, held back by two Peacekeepers, was none other than Faye Silver.
“I didn’t do it!” Faye continued to scream over and over again, her body thrashing wildly as she tried to break free from her restraints. Antonio stepped forward, his mouth open in shock.
“It was you,” he whispered. “It was you who tried to sabotage me.”
“NO!” Faye cried. “IT WAS JULIETTE, SHE’S FRAMING ME! Juliette’s the one who destroyed the arena, not me!”
Antonio shook his head vigorously. “Stop making excuses, Faye.”
Faye’s eyes were wide and imploring as she gazed at her father, her eyes shimmering with tears.
“Please, Daddy,” She whimpered softly. Antonio looked over at his daughter and a strange pain shot through his chest, but he ignored it.
“Don’t call me that.” Antonio growled. “You’re not my daughter anymore.”
Faye stared at Antonio. Antonio stared at Faye. For a moment, a sliver of emotion flashed across Faye’s innocent face – an expression that looked like pure rage – but it was quickly replaced. Faye shook her head and shut her eyes.
“It wasn’t me.” She growled under her breath. Antonio nodded at the peacekeepers and they dragged Faye away, still muttering to herself. Antonio sighed and ran a hand through his hair, then turned on his heel and left out the door.
Faye Silver stared after her fathers retreating figure, rage bubbling in her chest and threatening to explode. Juliette had set her up. Faye’s fists clenched as she thought of her sister. Her sister had ruined her because of a stupid mistake that SHE made. Faye shook her head, her face settling into a scowl.
Juliette wasn’t getting away with this. Not on Faye’s watch. And since her father had turned his back on her, she was going to get him too.
They weren’t getting away this.
Faye was going to kill them, even if it killed her.

Antonio sat at the Gamemakers desk, opening up the tributes tracker levels. He clicked on a few buttons, preparing a hallucinogenic to be injected into their bloodstream, then clicked on ‘Release’. He watched as the levels in the trackers rose, and then directed his attention to a screen of the arena. The tributes began to stagger about, looking dazed, and then all at once they collapsed to the ground, unconscious. Antonio sighed and leaned back. That was the next task set up, time to sleep.
Antonio pushed off his chair and began to make his way to the door, but he couldn’t shake off the feeling that something, or someone, was watching him. He glanced over his shoulder to see nothing, but still he couldn’t shake that feeling off. He turned back to the hallway and began to walk down it, heading towards his room where he slept during the games. But little did he know, he didn’t look closely over his shoulder. Maybe if he had looked again, he would have seen that the doors were wide open instead of shut. Maybe he would have noticed the distant sound of footsteps.
Maybe he would have noticed those eyes staring out at him.
Antonio ventured into his room, quickly changing into his sleepwear and then shutting off the light. He settled down into his bed and quickly dozed off, tiredness rapidly overtaking him.
Not even two minutes later, the sound of footsteps woke him.
Antonio’s eyes fluttered open slowly, to see a silhouette at his bedside. He rubbed his eyes, confused, but when he opened his eyes completely, he saw Faye standing next to him, holding a kitchen knife in her hand.
Antonio’s eyes widened in horror, staring at his daughter and at the weapon clutched in her hand. Faye smiled innocently down at her father, the light of insanity dancing in her eyes. Then it dawned on Antonio. She had never been just an innocent little girl. She was evil and deadly – and utterly insane.
Faye’s head cocked to the side slightly, a maniacal grin spreading across her face, which Antonio only now realized was covered in blood. His heart almost stopped with the realisation. Juliette.
“Hello, Daddy,” Faye whispered. She shot Antonio a devious smile, then slashed her knife across his throat.

Task: For this task, tributes are all injected with a serum that was in their trackers which knocks them out. They wake up in an enclosed room (Remember: it’s just their mind, their physical body is still in the arena).
One of the tributes loved ones appear in the room, they too have been made unconscious, and the tributes are permitted to talk to their loved one for 10 minutes. The tributes cannot touch their loved one as it is merely in their heads, they can only speak with eachother. If all the tribute’s loved ones are dead, an illusion of them can appear in the room and talk to them. There are cameras hidden in the room which broadcast the whole thing to Panem.
Kills: You are to send me TWO ballots. You should not be killing ANYONE in your entry, it is all ballots. Send these at the end of your entry as a list.
Elimination: Two people will be eliminated this round, and we will then have the final six. Four people will be put up for elimination, and two will live whilst the other two will die.
Bonus Points: (Warning: This is the final task with bonus points)
- First Entry (+1)
- Most Emotional Interaction with 'Loved One' (+3)
Sponsor Perks: No more sponsor perks.
Due Date: This is due on the 1st of March, 9pm AEDT. I believe that is 9 or 8 days, long story short you should have plenty of time.
I feel like this task is rather vague so, if you have any questions, let me know.
