"Ow!" I screech at my stylist. I've been standing here for almost an hour, being stabbed by sewing needles every five seconds. "Ouch! Can't you at least get the needle through once without pricking me!" I swear if I stay here any longer I am going to slowly bleed to death. "

"Sorry mam I'm trying my best" My stylist says. "If you would just stand still I cou-"

"I'm trying but you don't expect me to just stand still and laugh every time you stab me with a miniature knife!" I shout at him. Why do Capitol people have to be so dumb? I'm done with this stylist. The dress looks fine anyway. I hike up my dress and storm out of the room, followed by the distant echoes of my stylists trying to catch up in their ridiculous costumes.

As I walk past a mirror I stop to admire myself. I'm wearing a flaming red dress with black at the ends with tiny slot he's of orange, yellow and red. It matches my hair and when I run I'm sure I look like one of the fireballs that attacked Katniss Everdeen in the 74th annual hunger games. It's a shame she died. She seemed like she could win it. Oh well. My face is specked with gold along with my eyelashes and lips.

I practically sprint up stairs to the interviews, I don't like using elevators. They're too lazy. I'd rather feel the wins blowing in my face as I stride up the steps. As I get to the top I'm not the least bit out of breath but I decide to walk the rest of the way to the interviews. As I walk closer I hear the echoes of Ruby Shimmers, the interviewer, shout happily.

"And now! Can Fuse Satis come to the stage!" Oh crap! I sprint past the other tributes who look at me weirdly and slow myself down to a walk as I stride onto the stage. "Fuse Satis from District 3!!" Ruby squeals. She looks really pretty in a short, puffy dress that looks the colour of the ocean. The more you look at it, the more it seems like there are actual waves crashing on the shore. Her hair is falls down to her shoulders in wavy curls. She also has little flowers in her hair along with sea shells. Her makeup isn't as bright as I thought it would be. She has pale pink lipstick with little gems stuck on in random places. She also has the gems from the corner of her eyes to her temples. She looks beautiful. It's time to put on a show. I have the urge to say something rude but I think I have to be super nice to the Capitol if I want any sponsors.

"Good evening Ruby! You look stunning!" I compliment her. It's true though, she does look beautiful.

"Thank you! I had this specially made for the interviews! I'm glad you love it." She twirls in her dress and the crowd applaud and scream, obviously loving the style too.
"Now, shall we get on with the interview?" She asks. Duh, that's why I'm here in the first place.

"Of course!" I chirp. I don't want to be mean, who knows, she might be the one at saves my life.

"So! How are you liking the Capitol?" Ruby questions.

"Oh it's amazing! All the colours and bright lights make this place looks like the happiest place on earth! Oh and all the Capitol citizens! You guys are awesome! I love all the hair styles and crazy costumes. I wish I lived here. And you can't go past the food! It's delicious. I've never had food like this in my district." I marvel. It's true, the food is amazing.

"Of course you haven't! After all, it's is the Capitol." The crowd screams and applauds? They seem to be enjoying the interview. Ruby shifts in her seat to get comfortable and asks the next question.

"Now, you volunteered, tell us, why did you volunteer?" I can see the crowd lean forward so that they can hear what I say. This is easy.

"Well, who wouldn't volunteer! I mean, if you win you can have nearly anything you want! And then, if I win I will bring pride to my district. And plus, I finished my plan." I touch my locket which still has the piece of plastic inside. I haven't had a chance to go over it yet.

"A plan?" Ruby asks. The crowd seem just as confused as she is and mutter to each other about what it could be.

"Yes, a plan. Right here" I put my finger on the locket and give a little grin. "But I can't show you now. If the other tributes find out how I'm going to kill them, then maybe they might figure out a plan to stop it, and I can't have that happen!" If anyone finds out my plan I'll make sure that they die first.

"Well then...let's carry on with the next question!" The crowd applaud in agreement. I hope they like me. "Who stands out the most to you this year!"  Hmmm. This is a hard one.

"Ummm I think Phaedra from district one seems like a strong contender. She looks pretty dumb but I have a feeling that she seems smarter than she looks" There's something about her that just doesn't feel right. She's incredibly stupid but i think that she has a plan behind that stupidity." I look over to the other tributes and spot Phaedra sitting next to her partner. She seems oblivious to what's going on around her but I just catch a glimpse of her eyes, they look different to the rest of her body. Somehow, deep inside her eyes, is evil. And when she attacks near the end. I'll be ready.

"Ooh yes Phaedra." Ruby says slowly. She must think I'm crazy thinking a girl like that could possibly be a threat. Just wait until we enter the games. "Do you think she is the biggest threat or does someone else catch your attention?" She asks.

"Well Phaedra is definitely one that I will be keeping an eye on but I think Aissalyine seems a bit too smart for her own good. She may be smart but will she be able to out run the careers. I don't think so. But I'm not too worried about her. I will kill her soon enough. And I'm sure if she doesn't get anything from the bloodbath she will probably die because she doesn't have any weapons or food. But who knows. I'll be keeping an eye on her." I look over at Aissalyine and grin at her. I think I see her flinch but I'm sure either way I made her afraid. Good.

"Oh yes Aissalyine does seem very smart and I'm sure she will be a good contented this year!" The crowd cheer for her. What happened to me? This is interview is not about her. I stare at the crowd angrily and they quiet down. There goes me being nice.

"So now that we've got the biggest out of the way, who do you think is the weakest tribute this year?" I almost laugh at the question. That's the simplest question she's asked all evening.

"Oh!" I scoff "that's easy. Mango is easily the weakest tribute out of us! One thing that will go against him is that he won't talk. It's not going to do him any good with allies if he never talks to them. And it's a bit weird that he has a best friend that's a pen. Or is it a pencil. I don't know but whatever it is, having a stationary as your best friend is pretty weird. And I'm sure he doesn't know how to fight. So I'm guessing he will be a bloodbath tribute. If not someone will just pick him off anyway. He doesn't stands chance."

"Well who knows! Anyone can win. I remember last year Stone Everglade won and he went into the hunger games to die! He even tried to commit suicide multiple times yet he still beat everyone." Ruby exclaims. I suppose I shouldn't underestimate any tribute. Who knows what their hiding.

"Yeah I guess so" I say

"Do you think that you have a chance at winning?" Ruby questions.

"Do I think I have a chance at winning? Of course I do! I think I have a pretty good chance actually. I've  planned what I can do in every situation that could possibly happen in the games and now I know that I'm ready. I'm going to take these games by storm and before you know it I'm going to be crowned victor and bring pride and food to my district." I smile proudly and the crowd start to chant my name. Ruby has to shout multiple time before they start to calm down. Then a big bell sounding thing rings loudly and I see Ruby's face fall a little.

"Well that's all we have tonight! Give one last applause for Fuse Satis!" Ruby shouts.the crowd scream and cheer like crazy and as I walk off I hear them chanting my name. I guess that went pretty well. As I walk past the tributes a few of them stare at me so I just stare back. Eventually they look away and I let out a laugh as I walk up the stairs.they will all be dead in a few days anyway. May the odds be never in their favour.
