Chapter 26

The last two weeks of filming passed by with ease. Nami stayed with Tobirama all throughout the wrap up process. They made love to each other almost every night.

About a year later, the film was ready for its premier. Nami had plenty of red carpet practice with Sakura; but, as the leading woman, all eyes would be on her tonight. She wasn't sure how this made her feel so she called up someone who would comfort her – Iruka. The siblings had dinner with each other just about every week and usually used that time to catch up. With both of their work schedules and Iruka's kids, it had been almost 3 months since they had seen each other.

"Sis! Are you okay? You never call me."

"I'm so nervous!"

"Ah, yeah, the premier! I'm sorry I can't be there for you tonight. We've already got a babysitter for tomorrow night along with reserved tickets though!"

"The more I think about it, the less I want you to see it!"

"What? Why?"

"What if it is a major flop?! Plus, there is a whole nude scene!"

"I already got ear plugs and an eye mask for that part."

"Ugh still."

"The Room with Tommy Wiseau was a major flop and look at him now! He has a whole cult following!"

"I'm doomed."

"No you aren't! You have the biggest and the best people working on this film! Didn't Tobirama alone win a few Oscars and invent like a bunch of new techniques?"

"Yeah; but, still. I'm not an actress!"

"Well he saw something in you. How is that going by the way?"

"Good! Gosh, Iruka, I love him so much. He just asked me to move in with him and I think I'm going to say yes."

"That's fantastic! See? Even if the film flops, now you won't be a homeless failure."

"Thanks bro."

"Anytime!"

Nami left Tobirama's house and headed to Sakura's suite. When she walked in she saw flowers everywhere.

"Another fight and make up?"

Sakura rushed to the entrance where Nami stood taking in the sight of all the flowers. She held her hand out to showcase a gorgeous engagement ring.

"I didn't want to tell you over text! I wanted to tell you in person!"

"Congrats! Oh my!" Nami and Sakura hugged and jumped around in circles.

"And I have another thing!"

"More?!"

"No. For you silly!" Sakura said as she walked towards the kitchen pulling Nami with her. On the counter, a pink, perfectly wrapped gift box awaited. "Open it!"

Nami pulled the ribbon and opened the box to see a card. 'I'm getting married! Be my main bitch?' Inside laid a silky robe with 'Maid of Honor' written on it. There was a coconut candle, a mini spa kit, and beautiful little diamond stud earrings. Nami started to cry.

"Yes! I would love to be your Maid of Honor!"

The two hugged, cried, and laughed. Sakura got serious, "Now, I don't want to stress you out but could you also help plan my wedding?!"

The rest of the night was filled with wedding talk as Sakura helped Nami get ready for the premier. Nami could not have been more grateful for the distraction. She was planning a wedding on top of a charity dinner she agreed to help Tobirama with. She didn't have time to be nervous about a red carpet.

It was time for Nami to head downstairs to meet the limo that Tobirama had arranged for her. She said her goodbye to Sakura and made her way to the elevator.
