Ashton's POV

"She'll be fine, lets go." I rush Calum out my apartment as I grab Kat's car and apartment keys.

"Okay so why do I need to drive you to her house?" Calum asks turning his car on.

"I'm going to get the rest of her clothes and like things that seem important and then leave them in her car at my house.." I explain bouncing my leg up and down, I didn't want Kat to wake up to an empty house.

"And why are you doing this?" He asks, pestering me really. "So it's easier, besides I don't want her to step foot near that place, alone anyways." I say hoping he just shuts his mouth.

"Seems like you like her." Calum says raising an eyebrow as he turns into her parking lot. "Does it now?" I reply mindlessly, my eyes wandering out the window for her parked car.

"Yeah, like a lot." He says parking infront of her building. "Well..." I say opening the car door. "I think I do like her a lot." I answer and step out, Calum waves at me as he drives away.

I walk into her building going straight for her apartment.

I unlock the bright red door, stepping in and looking around to make sure nothing has been touched.

I walk to her room, grabbing a bag she had laying on the ground, I begin placing all the rest of her items into the bag, by the end of it, her closet is completely empty.

I walk into her bathroom, grabbing some of her hair products and her makeup bag, deciding she might want it eventually.

I walk into the kitchen and make sure nothing looks completely special so I don't have to take more, I already had 3 1/3 bags full of stuff, plus she had two large duffles at my house already.

"Done." I mutter to no one and leave her apartment, locking the door and exiting the building.

Once I'm outside I speed walk to her car, the bags ready to fall off my body.

I place them on the trunk while I get the keys from my pocket.

Unlocking the car I place one bag in the backseat and the rest in the trunk, there was no room.

When all was tucked away and secure, I climbed into the driver seat and started my descend back home.

-

I crept into my house, tip toeing for no particular reason. I mean, I could easily tell Kat that I just went to check my mail or went to the store, no big deal.

I put Kat's keys on the kitchen counter where mine lay, the noise from the keys chattering around makes Maxie run out from wherever she was and bark at me.

"Shh!" I say rubbing Maxie's head as she begins to jump up on me, her paws on my knees.

"What time is it?" Kat says tiredly from the hallway, her hair slightly disheveled. One hand rubbing her eye from the sleepiness, Maxie instantly goes to stand by Kat, waiting to be pet. She really likes her.

"7 going on 8, how you feeling?" I say walking closer to her, she shrugs and walks into my living room.

"Want to watch tv? Are you hungry?" I ask, I mean, she must be hungry.

"I'm a little hungry, not that much though. I was going to order some Chinese, is that okay?" She asks, a yawn escaping her in the process.

"I can order." I quickly offer making Kat chuckle and shake her head. "I'll buy since I'm staying here. I won't take no for an answer." Kat says authoritatively, purposely poking my chest as she walks back into the hallway.

"Damn." I whisper to myself, for no particular reason.
