KASDEYA ARGYROS' Point of View
When my eyes laid upon him, they start to burn in instant anger.
Although I'm sure he notices my glare, hindi niya lang ako pinapansin.
What is he doing here?
I try to answer my own question, pero wala talaga akong ideya. Hindi lang ang pagpasok niya ang nakakabigla, his appearance here is so out of nowhere and sudden. He's not even part of the conversation.
His face is so punch-able that I don't even care if he's good looking. Gusto kong durugin yung mukha niya. Nakakainis.
"You're finally here, kanina pa kita tinawag. The latter only looks around the room. He's not even hiding that his clear avoidance of my piercing gaze.
Parang ginagalit nalang ako ng isang 'to.
It's funny when I think about the moment we first met. Nung una, akala ko mabait siyang tao. I ignored the nagging feeling I had from the start, thinking that the reason why he looked mysterious is because he's a son of Hecate.
He was like everyone else, acting and seeming like a disposable pawn, just like the others.
We kind of hit it off when we exchanged names and talked to each other. I can still remember how normal our interaction was.
Kaso nag-iba na ngayon. We proved each other that first impressions don't last, no matter how good or bad.
I use to like being around him. To be honest, magaan pakisamahan si Aether. He was one of the few people I can actually stand being with.
He literally tried to kill me when I was alone. That was enough to make me really really hate his whole damn existence.
"Why is he here?"
He points at himself, with widened eyes and fake surprise, trying to appear so innocent that it makes him look dumb. Tumingin tingin pa siya sa paligid.
Umawang ang labi niya. "Damn. That hurts, Kasdeya. I flinch in repulsion.
Sir Adonis laugh awkwardly. "Oh boy, this is going to be a mess, then..."
My attention goes back to her. She observe me habang nakababa ang mga mata sa akin.
"Ms. Argyros, each training demigod in the Acropilus has a Higher Up for a mentor. Of course, the mentors always have the same deity parent as their student," Paninimula ni Sir Adonis.
"For example, as I am a son of Hesychia, personified goddess or daimona of silence, I train students who are also the children of Hesychia. It's the same with every other mentors, including Calix and Franchesca. But in your case, it won't be possible."
It's because I'm the only daughter of Urania. We've already established this earlier.
"Don't worry, you're not the only one who's a lonely child!" Biglang sabat ni Aether na nakangiti pa sa akin, like it's a positive thing. So you're not actually pathetic."
