"This is pathetic."
Mapaklang natawa si Aries habang pinapanood na umubo ng dugo si Theon.
He watches the scene in front of him in amusement. Nakapatong ang espada niya sa dalawa niyang balikat habang nakangisi kay Theon na nahihirapan sa sitwasyon niya.
Once he finished laughing, he mocks him even more. "Attacking you while you're exhausted was a great plan. Buti nalang at pinaalis mo ang mga kasama mo, kundi mas nahirapan lang ako."
Aries figured out he cares too much for his friends that Theon would rather suffer alone than ask them for help because it might in danger them instead.
Dahil ayaw niyang masaktan ang mga taong malapit sakaniya, inaangkin niya lahat ng problema. Aries almost gags at the thought of Theon's self-righteousness.
Napangisi siya. The Alastorian heir in front of him has already fought a wave of hundreds of demigods, and yet, he can still fight. The mere strength it takes to stand right in front of Aries is impressive enough, but every demigod has their limits.
Kahit na dumadaloy sa katawan mo ang lahat ng dugo ng mga Olympians, mapapagod at mapapagod ka pa rin.
It's the perfect opportunity. Theon is already weakened for battling countless demigods who probably attacked him at the same time, he won't be able to take any more much longer. Aries can end him swiftly— right here, right now.
He won't let this moment pass.
"I've been waiting for so long to strike down someone like you. Once I'm done, your brother's next." Naglakad siya palapit kay Theon at sinipa ito, pero nagawa pa rin niyang makailag.
Theon is too quick that Aries didn't even notice him. Mabilis niyang sinummon muli ang kaniyang spear bago umikot patungo sa likod ni Aries. He attacks him from behind but Aries is fast enough to evade his attempt.
Humarap sakaniya si Aries bago pa man tumama ang dulo ng spear niya sa likod niya.
The son of war grins before kicking Theon in his kneecap. He lets out a soft grunt before punching Aries in the jaw with uncontrolled force.
Napaabante si Aries dahil sa ginawa niya. Hinihingal si Theon na napahawak sa kaniyang tuhod. He blinks profusely to keep himself in focus. Kanina pa siya nakikipaglaban pero ayaw niyang magpahinga.
He can't lose now, especially to someone like Aries.
Napahawak lang si Aries sa kaniyang panga. He notices the blood trickling down his jaw because of Theon's punch. Hindi niya mapigilan na matawa muli. Even when he's in his worst state, he can still punch hard.
Umangat muli ang tingin niya rito. He smirks. Theon only watch him with deadpanned eyes. Aries wants that face to writhe in pain once he is done with him.
"You know what, I'm actually impressed. You can still hold this long in a fight. Not bad, maybe that's why the gods adore you so much," Pinaikot ni Aries ang espada niya sa pamamagitan ng paggalaw sa mga braso niya. Mas lalong lumawak ang kanyang ngiti. "But that's as far as you'll get."
Mabilis siyang tumakbo patungo kay Theon. The white haired demigod's eyes glare at Aries when the latter runs towards him at almost invisible speed.
Kahit nasundan ng mata niya ang paggalaw nito, alam niyang walang demigod ang ganito kabilis tumakbo maliban sa mga anak ni Hermes.
Aries slashes his sword in front of him, but he's quick to change his spear into a sword to counter his attack.
"Why do you fight for the gods when they tried to kill you after they found out you exist?" Sigaw sakaniya ni Aries habang nilalapit nito ang kaniyang espada patungo kay Theon.
