KASDEYA ARGYROS' Point of View

"What the hell is happening?" Everyone is panicking at the sight of the barrier slowly falling apart before being turned to nothing.

We're just running for our dear lives.

The Higher Ups are nowhere to be found. It's one of my concerns. Alam kong busy sila ngayon, that's why the assessment happened today.

Wala sila ngayon sa Acropolis dahil may ginagawa silang confidential. I heard there's a meeting involving them and the Alastorians that's why they had to leave, which makes this a bad time for something wrong to happen.

Napatigil ako sa pagtakbo nang may mapagtanto. Aether looks back at me, our hands separating because of my sudden halt.

Nakakunot ang noo niya. "What in Olympus are you doing? Gusto mong iwanan kita?"

Umiling ako. "No..." I mutter while stammering with my words. "Hindi ka ba nagtataka? Someone's attacking now that the higher ups aren't present. Aether, this whole thing isn't just a normal attack. Or a monster. This is orchestrated."

Pati siya ay natigilan sa sinabi ko. His eyes widen, mirroring the expression in my face.

The running demigods past us by but we don't care. We stared= at each other, as if we have a common understanding. The first time we actually have something similar in my mind.

Kita ko sa mukha niya.

A name looms above our heads like a massive bubble of thought.

"Katharsis..." Sabay naming bulong.

Without saying a word, we know we need to find the others. This isn't child's play anymore.

My heart won't stop beating harshly against my chest. It feels painful to breath dahil sobrang bilis rin ng pagtakbo namin. When Aether notices that I'm falling behind, he grabs my wrist and pulls me.

Fear starts to conquer me. Nagtatago sila. It's scaring me to death that they could be anywhere and everywhere.

I can't let them get to me.

"Nasaan yung iba?"

Wait. It's the middle of the night. They must be still asleep!

I groan and face-palmed. I'm so overwhelmed with all the explosions and my own fear of getting caught by the Katharsis that I didn't stop to think logically.

Humarap ako kay Aether. "Sa dormitory! They won't be here in the main building, dumbass!"

Sinamaan nya ako ng tingin. He's still holding unto my arm, hindi ko lang mapapansin kung hindi niya hinigpitan ang pagkakahawak sa palapulsuhan ko.

"Do you think I don't know what I'm doing?" He shouts at me with blazing eyes. "I know the Hellenes are here. They're not the curfew-following dogs you think they are."

Kumunot ang noo ko. "How would you know?"

"They're all gathered for a meeting," Sagot niya agad. "They're bound to be here."
