NEPHELE ABERIE'S Point of View

Kahapon pa ako wala sa sarili.

I admit, nagulantang ako sa nangyari kagabi. I didn't expect that a demigod would be unclaimed, and she isn't even from of Acropolis.

But if she's not a newbie, paano siya nakapasok dito?

She has a weird name too. I don't know much about Christian mythology, but I'm sure that she has the same name with a demon. Pero ibang iba naman ang ugali niya.

She's pretty and innocent-looking. Almost all the guys fell head over heels when she walked inside the pavilion.

I'm intrigued by her. The oracle skipped over her like she's nothing but a speck of dust. She made it seem like she already anticipated for it to happen. That's what made her interesting.

She just... captures your attention.

She's secretive, quiet, and could have been mistaken as enigma herself.

I see three people coming in from the gate and I immediately walk towards them.

"What happened? May nakuha ba kayo?" They look haggard and lethargic when they enter the Acropolis' gates in dirty and battered Hellenes uniform.

Titus raises his hands, sighing. "'Wag mokong kausapin.

Mahina akong natawa. Titus Grove, son of Hephaestus and a cousin of Theon. His auburn eyes resemble burning wood.

"Ano bang nangyari?" Tanong ko nalang kay London at Abigail.

London smiles sadly.

"We didn't get anything, there were no useful intel or clue. She says, her gold and pink eyes look sullen. "We hit another dead end."

"It's like they knew we would look for something," Singit ni Abigail, "Kaya inunahan nila kami at walang iniwanang bakas. They were gone before we could reach them."

Napasimangot ako. I stare at the short, dark-blue haired girl with off-white eyes.

Abigail Davis is the daughter of Iris, the winged goddess of rainbows and she's a messenger too. To think that even her daughter couldn't get anything about the Katharsis either... Bakit ang galing nilang magtago?

Nawawalan na kami ng oras. If we can't find anything at this rate, how are we going to retaliate?

This is so frustrating.

I draw circles on the sides of my forehead. Habang tumatagal, mas nahihirapan kami. I can't believe that the enemy have us running around in circles just to find them. I can already imagine the joy in their faces while watching us panic over this situation.
