TITUS GROVE'S Point of View

"I don't think that girl likes you." He's busy drafting and reading blueprints, kaya mahirap siyang kausapin.

Scratch that.

I need to keep away from the silence. I work better with noises.

He raises a brow but that piece of paper has most of his attention. "Of course she doesn't. She doesn't like anyone."

Hindi ko maiwasang humalakhak. "Sabagay. Sa tuwing nagkikita kayo, lagi nalang kayong nagbabangayan. I've never heard you say so many words in under five minutes."

Theon only scoffs before shifting in his position. Pinaglaruan niya ang lapis gamit ang maugat niyang kamay. Sometimes, he would run his fingers through his hair. No wonder girls go crazy over him.

Napangiti ako. "Honestly, I haven't seen her show that much emotion. Sa'yo lang siya nagiging ganun. She's kinda cute."

Tumango lang siya. "If you think whiny brats are cute, then sure."

I sneer. Wow, they really don't like each other.

"I don't think I've seen you hate someone as much as her."

"Theon Alastor, the man who's always too calm for his own good even in heated battles, gets worked up when it comes to a certain girl," Mangha kong saad. "And yet, no matter how much you hate each other, you'll always stay together."

I thought he didn't hear me amidst his focus, but Theon's always aware of his surroundings.

He just chose not to answer.

Maybe he wants to dismiss the fact that I'm right. Theon and Kuya Calix might be the scions of Olympians and the sons of Athena, but I'm still smart. Hindi man kasing talino nila, but I'm an Alastor too.

Our childhoods are filled with trainings and tests to prepare us in the future. We can't be subpar or just average in everything.

Alastorians are said to be the mortal vessels of the Olympians. We're all constructed to achieve something meaningful in our lives, that's why we're skilled in a lot of things. Arts, literature, academics... kahit saan pa 'yan.

The burden is heavier for the two direct heirs, but we didn't have it easy either. Being born in a clan like the Alastor Tribe isn't all about glory and privilege.

I've been trained to observe people and take notes of the smallest detail, kaya alam ni Theon na hindi ako nagkakamali.

But they have this habit of sticking with each other. Lagi silang magkasama kahit na nag-aaway sila. Heck, they spend time together more than Theon with Paris and River, who are usually each other's ride or die.

They're inseparable, like two interlocking pieces that won't let go of each other.

Hate and Attachment. That's a deadly combination... but I can't imagine the two of them being split apart. Parang unnatural na sa paningin ko.

Biglang bumukas ang pinto kaya napatingin ako roon. Theon keeps his focus on the blueprint, like it's the most interesting thing in all the realms.
