KASDEYA ARGYROS' Point of View

I can't help but draw the symbol at the corner of my paper.

It's the most familiar symbol in my mind. Naaalala ko noong lagi ko itong ginuguhit tuwing wala akong magawa.

The Ouroboros symbol is the emblem of Gaea's retinue. Their thirteen leaders are marked with this insignia to show their faith and loyalty towards the Earth goddess.

Not everyone gains the privilege to be marked by their insignia. Not normal members, nor the new recruits.

And definitely not prisoners.

You have to work hard for it. Prove that you are not a simple percentage of Gaea's followers.

I stare at the drawing of a snake in a circular shape while biting its own tail.

Ouroboros. An Ancient Greek symbol that means infinity and an endless return, usually one that involves the beginning and end.

It represents the ideology that everything born from the goddess of Earth, goes back to her.

The goddess won't rest until she brings back the order she desires. 'Gaea's reign shall be for eternity and more.' That's what her followers always say. It never fails to make my hair stand on end.

I softly trace the locations that I remember from memory while adding every detail I know.

They're all big gossips. Rumors, big news, and stories emerge every two seconds. The entire organization will know in just a few hours.

That's why I'm impressed that they're so good at hiding.

I start to mark the locations of different headquarters on the map I'm drawing. I even sketch a simple visual of how each of them look.

I'm currently enjoying the soft afternoon breeze in the field.

No one is training, which is a rare sight, pero hindi na ako nagtaka dahil alam kong nagpapahinga sila sa dorm o galleria. Half-bloods might be stronger than humans, but they require rest too.

That's what I thought until I hear a voice from beside me.

"Ang galing mo palang mag-drawing."

I hitch my breath loudly when I feel a hot breath coming from my side. Napalayo ako roon at lumingon.

"What in the Underworld are you doing? 'Wag ka ngang nananakot."

The fake redheaded asshole only chuckles lighty before sitting comfortably next to me. The air sparkles around him like miniscule fireflies, as if he's a fairytale princess. Umasog ako palayo sakanya.

He winks. "Sorry, Madame.

"You surprised me, halatang nanadya ka. Ano bang kailangan mo?"
