KASDEYA ARGYROS' Point of View

As soon as Sir Adonis dismisses the Hellenes so they could rest, everyone leaves the room one by one.

Si Theon ang huling lumabas. I follow his strides with my gaze, hoping he'll notice my burning attention stuck on him, but he passes me by like I'm nothing but an insignificant decoration in the room.

Knowing him, that's probably how I look in his eyes.

He'll always look down on me. Sa lahat naman ng tao. I don't know why or how I put up with someone who thinks like that.

I take a deep breath when the door behind me closes. Kakausapin ko siya mamaya. I'm not going to let him treat me like that. Something's wrong with him, I know it, and I'll get to the bottom of it. For now, I need to ask some questions first.

The fake stone, the prophecy, and the missing Commander. The next scenario is so close I can feel it— This is the starting formula to brew a ruthless war.

The silent war Sir Adonis was talking about earlier, it will only trigger a chain of destruction. There's no doubt about it.

"Deputy Commander," Tawag ko sakaniya.

Bahagya siyang natigilan bago tumalikod at tumingin sa akin. He wears a gentle smile on his face, but I can sense how bothered he is with everything that's going on.

"May problema ba, Ms. Argyros?"

I don't answer right away, with hesitation blocking my tongue from korving.

This war, is it even possible to avoid it?

Alam kong imposible na takbuhan ito. This is between both sides, Gaea's will and the Olympians, and it's hard to remain hidden during these times.

A war would mean an imbalance in all of the known realms of our world. Not even Underworld would be put to rest from the deaths and defiance that could happen. Sa mga ganitong digmaan, maraming pupwedeng mangyari.

The Titanomachy and Gigantomachy are evidences of what could happen. Maybe this time, it would be worse than both.

It would be disastrous if all beings are involved.

I would help them find the Commander, just because I have no choice but to pick a side. Sa ngayon, Acropolis is the safest side I could take.

Kailangan kong maging maingat. Above everything, my survival is still the most important.

My thoughts are cruel, and I'm selfish enough to hear them out.

If I have to change sides in the middle of everything, then so be it. And given my history with that group, I'll have to escape again and hide from everyone.
