"Are they dead?" The brown eyes boy asked quietly not moving an inch. Jack stirred and rolled on his side from where he lay on his bed. Zach was on the floor beside his bed sitting crisscrossed and fumbling with a piece of string he found. Jack watched him slightly opening his mouth the answer but nothing came out. "I bet they are...well Corbyn I don't think he'd kill Daniel," Zach mumbled wrapping the thin piece of white string around his finger then unraveling it. Jack sighed "I hope not," he said quietly. "How far do you think they got?" Zach asked in the same tone still messing with the string out of habit. "I don't know. Theirs like ten acres of woods out there." Jack groaned rubbing his hands over his face. "How the hell does he afford ten acres or woods? Does he even work?! He just always sits on his ass and gets angry and lashes out," Zach growled. "It's ebens land but they out the house deeper down for reasons you can probably guess and he got his dad's money when he died but it's running out...fast," Jack explained leaning more off of the bed. "Did he really kill his dad?...it just all seems fake how does he get away with everything?" Whined the younger brunette. "He always covers his tracks really good I guess...and the dad and mom thing is 100% true," Jack yawned. "Why do you say it so casually? It's literally a murder!" Jack shrugged "keeps the memories away I guess," he said. Zach remained quiet not wanting to bring back the memories anymore for the older man.

Zach moved onto his knees and crawled slightly over to the small tv that was on jacks floor hitting the power button and grabbing the remote. "Can I?" He asked after realizing Jack probably didn't want him in his things without permission. "Yeah sure I don't care you don't have to ask," Jack said rolling on his back and hanging off the side of the bed. Zach scrolled through the channels but ended up just choosing the news, so he could have some sensibility of what's going on in the world right now. It was the part where it told the weather for the next few days and such which told Zach it was going to rain almost everyday that week and be cold. "Why do you think they left without me?" He asked quietly after a few moments of silence. "I'm sure they didn't want to they were probably acting on impulse." Jack said Zach rolled his eyes "yeah sure okay," Zach said softly and pressed his back against jacks bed watching the news channel. "I'm sure that's what it was and I'd be upset to if it were me but life's crazy you know what I mean?..." Zach nodded his head slightly "I know," he said but the words had no effect on him.

Still hanging upside down Jack lightly ran his fingers down zachs back. The younger flinched at first but eased into the light touch. It soothed him in a way but he was still tense. He stayed quiet and let his eyes gently flutter closed. "Today's been a day," Jack said and slid down the bed beside Zach so his legs were still on the bed slightly and his backrest on the floor beside Zach, he moved the rest of his body down a second later and placed his head in zachs lap. "Every day is one of those days here today is just taking to long to be over with," Zach said opening his eyes to look down at Jack. "It's already seven p.m it'll be over soon," Jack snuggled his face closer to zachs thigh as the younger began to run his fingers through his hair. Zach sighed and threw his head back gently staring up at the ceiling closely listening in on the mindless muttering of the television. He heard the date Friday, October 27th he thought the date over for a second, millions of things rushed through his mind before he finally came to the result of why the date seemed so weird, tears filled his eyes. "T-today's eight months," he whimpered trying to hold it in. "What?" Jack asked yawning slightly and looking up at Zach more who still stared at the ceiling. "I went missing on February 27th I'm pretty sure...yeah that's right I think and that's eight months ago today," Zach said and looked down at Jack, they made temporary eye contact. Jack had no idea what to respond with, how would someone even reply to that!? "That's like almost a whole school year." Zach sighed. Jack sat up and placed himself beside Zach closely. "On the bright side no homework..." he let out a nervous laugh. Zach shot him a glare but kept quiet. "Sorry I know..." Jack said and looked down at his lap slightly fiddling with his fingers.
