~Eva's POV~
Niklaus, Damon, Stefan, and the rest had successfully brought back the cure, the item now placed atop the table in front of me as the rest sat around the table similarly gazing at it.
It was such a peculiar thing, one that had absolutely no use for me but was able to create such waves in the mortal world.
Any immortal being born within the mortal world who wished to regain their mortality back would fight wars upon this but thankfully such creatures were very scarce for most sought immortality instead of mortality.
"So anyone here who wants this?" I asked casually breaking the silence my eyes wondering each and everyone's face.
Stefan had a look of intrigue, Elijah unmoved, Niklaus and Damon looking pensive for some reason, Kol and Caroline unbothered and I knew the two of them had no intention of taking it.
Rebekah like Stefan seemed intrigued yet her hand clutched at Barak's for dear life.
Bonnie, Tyler, and Enzo already declared they had no need for it upon their arrival.
When no one answered everyone understood nobody there wished for it. I caressed the case lovingly wanting to keep it in my possession as a valuable. My dragon longing to horde it.
But it couldn't be helped, it had its uses after all.
So grabbing my phone I tapped a number waiting for it to connect.
As soon as it connected I spoke.
"You better come home brother, there is something here you may wish to have," I murmured into the call and when I received his response I ended the call before looking at the surprised faces in front of me.
"What?" I shrugged, "He deserves to know too. Besides he has been dwelling close by these days. It would take him at most three hours to arrive." I muttered while Niklaus and Kol rolled their eyes, certainly thinking I was doing something useless.
But this was their brother I was speaking about. He deserved the same courtesy alright.
And Finn had always been having a hard time accepting his vampire nature. Maybe this would finally make him understand what he truly desired.
Be human or continue to be a powerful being.
"I'm sure he would jump at the chance," Nik grumbled.
"Why are you all so mean to him?" Caroline suddenly demanded sitting straight and I too crossed my arms looking at the Mikaelson siblings pointedly wondering the same.
"I umm..." Rebekah trailed off looking confused.
"Because he is a bore," Kol grumbled.
"Yeah, yeah you have been saying that since day one. Is that all there is to it?" Darling Caroline was on a mission.
"Well, I'm not the one who was hell-bent on getting us killed!" Kol snapped back a deep hurt coloring his voice.
Right, indeed, Finn had not exactly been a good brother to them. Despite Nik's shortcomings, he did wish for all his siblings to live.
Sensing the storm brewing Stefan quickly intervened.
"So what happens now? If Finn does not want it I mean."
"Then obviously we destroy it," Nik spoke and the others nodded while I too agreed.
But that is only possible if Silas remained frozen. And since nobody was foolish enough to feed him blood this time I presume he would remain the same.
