~Stefan's POV~

The waiting was torturous. After taking care of the aftermath of the almost war, we all gathered back at Eva's house, Alexandros proposing it as the safest place for her at the moment.

So after laying Eva down, we sat in the living room, looking at Alexandros and Barak who seemed to have all the answers we sought.

I sat on the sofa hands clasped my entire body taut with tension. Eva King, or Evangelina Lastra as she introduced herself earlier was a very powerful being and as time went it seemed we were unable to keep up with her.

The two original brothers had it a little better since compared to us their strength was significantly vast.

Both Damon and I always have to make sure to stay alive in the first place instead of being any help.

And now with unknown factors affecting my mate, the uncertainties seemed to only grow. I had no doubt about our relationship.

She would be the perfect partner while we too would forever try to be the best for her, but us being weak was irrefutable.

And it seemed it was not only me who was concerned for her safety and our inability to protect her for Damon, Klaus, and Elijah to was in the darkest of moods.

"Can somebody enlighten me, what the bloody hell is wrong with her?!" Finally, Kaus burst out no longer able to stay still.

"The Drakaina has finally woken her soul beast, unlike Jeremy who managed to bond with an old soul, Drakaina's beast was born along with her in her previous lifetime. The Serpent Dragon had only ever bonded with her and now this is the second lifetime it's with her. So awakening it had brought along all the memories she had forgotten.

Right now the Drakaina is once again experiencing everything, be it the past or now, she is both seeing and feeling everything. Only she can endure it, nothing we do will help." Alexandros this time fully explained, and now I understood what was going on.

But it still did not explain everything.

"If she is remembering, it is a good thing, right? Why do you both seem so tensed?" I questioned looking at both Alexandros and Barak.

At my question they both looked at each other silently communicating before Barak shook his head, sigh in apparent defeat.

"At first we did not want to tell you, but after we so how affected she was with the burst of emotions it cannot be helped anymore." Both of them looked absolutely grave that the four of us further tensed, Elijah despite his calm demeanor looked ready to jump at anyone any time.

Damon sat with an expressionless face completely silent unlike his usual self and Klaus paced back and forth as if grinding himself up for a bloody fight.

Even Finn, Rebekah, Kol, and Caroline seemed to be uneasy.

"We wish to know everything. Do not hide anything, it would not do anyone any good." Elijah spoke his voice hard as he looked at the two warriors.

Nodding in acceptance Alexandros started a faraway look in his eyes.

"After God created his angelic children, he was said to have been beyond happy. But the angels were very proud creatures who arrogance measured to non-other And seeing them think they monopolized everything the God once again created another species.

The Warriors of Light, creatures different from the angel kind, ones who were connected to powerful mystical beast souls, who were almost as powerful as the archangels.

He created two warriors first, one female and one male. Both of them with care and detail to perfection.

They both had their soul beasts born along with them, awoken at birth. The male was a dazzling fire and ice dragon, his demeanor as cold as his dragon's ice and once angered his tempered as fiery as his fire. He was called Vasilias Drakos, Basil Obelius.
