~20. Katherine Pierce, Confused!~

~Eva's POV~

"No! No! Stefan stop! You are not allowed to come here. You are banned!" I yelled foolishly running around the boarding house trying to get away from Stefan while Damon sprawled across the sofa laughing hysterically.

But obviously, I had no chance of avoiding the cheeky sod's claws as he used vampire speed to catch me.

"Caught you." He whispered smugly tightening his hands across me.

"Yeah, yeah whatever. You cheating person." I snapped pretending to be annoyed.

"Stefan, look, a new one! 'Cheating person', you are on a role today Eva." Damon guffawed letting out loud laughs at my antics.

Well, what happened was after the emotional confession the other night I and my mates decided to stay together for the night, and for some reason, we arrived at the boarding house even though we were literally a few steps away from my house.

And this morning as soon as they woke up I thought of welcoming them with breakfast but the situation slightly went messy and escalated as the brothers joined me in the kitchen teasing me to no end.

So me being me thought it was a good idea to hit Stefan in the head with a spatula which flew over with my magic which took him by surprise making him face plant on the plate of flour in the process dissolving Damon in a fit of laughter.

And now I'm paying for my mistakes as Stefan tickled me to hysterics.

"Oh my god! Stop, s-stop... can't take it anymore!" I exclaimed between laughter and breathlessness.

And Damon being the kind person he is removed his brother off of me.

"Yes, brother stop. Now go be a good boy and wash that flour off your face. It's making me difficult to keep a straight f-face..." Damon laughed again pointing at Stefan's face making me too laugh in the process, but I quickly stifled it when Stefan's glare landed on me.

Huffing he flashed away while Damon picked me up depositing on his lap nuzzling his face on my neck.

"You are very different today." He muttered after some time.

"What do you mean?" I asked baffled.

"Nothing bad, you just look more relaxed." He replied smiling fondly at me.

"It's because I'm happy," I spoke grinning widely linking my arms around his neck. "I never have been this happy in my entire life," I told him honestly.

He caressed my cheek softly before kissing me on the forehead.

"I've never been happier too. You brought this into our lives. You are our happiness." My cheeks colored at his words as I shyly buried my head at the side of his neck.

"Mhmm, is little Eva shy?" Damon teased chuckling, I could only tighten my hold on him refusing show him my tomato of a face.

Soon Stefan too joined us sitting beside Damon before taking hold of my hand.

I sighed contently having never felt this way. As if everything in the world would be alright if these two would be beside me.

"You two not going to the parade? It's founder's day."

"Why would we? The device is not deactivated and nothing interesting going on anyway." Damon shrugged looking very uninterested.

Stefan too nodded his head agreeing before placing a kiss on my hand.

"Well, I have to go so, Damon, release me please I have to get ready." I looked at the rave haired vampire sternly when he only tightened his hold on me.
