Stefan, Damon, Klaus, and Elijah stood at the edges of the massive field. Eva had instructed them to drive here, in the middle of nowhere, to meet her brother. Whom, they were still confused, as they'd originally thought only Eva was created by God later Bazil, as her mate at that time. Yet here they stood both apprehensive and confused waiting for the mysterious brother to show up.

Eva stood further into the field, her back towards them. The four of them stood alert as they felt Eva's magic hum in the air, the clouds darkening as if a disaster was about to strike. It did not stop there, even the ground seemed to react to whoever Eva was summoning, it shook and if not for their greater strength and quick reflexes, they'd have been able to witness the Original brothers falling on their asses.

But most times things did not go as planned for Damon so none fell but the field suddenly brightened, blinding his eyes, making him cover behind his hand. Finally, when everything calmed Damon felt struck by what he saw. Furthermore, he was sure the three standing next to him too were shocked at the sight in front.

Standing in front of Eva was a tall man, with striking features. Dark Hair, green eyes, fair almost similar to Eva, but what stood out were the massive white wings adorning his back. They swept across the field seeming to engulf everything.

"Hello, Evangelina..." The man murmured, eyes hard despite the smirk dancing on his lips.

"Brother," Eva called out gently but remained put her expression a one of hesitancy.

"What no hug? Or is it that you don't want to anymore?" Immediately she rushed forward, careful of her stomach as she hugged her brother. Her eyes felt sore feeling his closeness. After all that had happened, she'd thought he would surely be cross with her.

After all, while she'd been granted forgiveness, he was still cast aside.

"I've missed you, Lucifer," Eva mumbled and she could feel the arms around her tighten, even though he did not reply.

Happy and content she moved away, turning to introduce Lucifer to her mates, only to find the four standing there gawking at them.

Unlike Eva's bafflement, Lucifer knew exactly what they were thinking and smirked knowingly. It happened every time he appeared in front of mortals. They all just froze in front of his magnificent self; it was nothing new.

"Brother, they are my mates. Niklaus, Elijah, Damon, and Stefan." Eva introduced each other, despite the strange atmosphere before turning to her mates. "This is my brother, Lucifer."

"We heard my love. Just that didn't expect to meet the literal devil so soon darling." Klaus was the first to shed his shock, before walking forward with a slight smile on his face.

His mate's brother was the devil, Lucifer in the flesh, now wasn't this interesting?

The rest too quickly joined him, though Damon still had a frown on his face. He was at that moment feeling a little bitter.

God as a father-in-law and the Devil as the brother-in-law, wasn't this line-up a bit too extravagant?

"Niklaus!" Eva admonished softly, a smile in her tone as she watched her brother preen beside her. For all his posturing Lucifer was one narcissistic fool.

"Two Original vampires and two young vampires. Eva sweetheart-" Lucifer did not get to continue as Eva jabbed him in the ribs with her elbow, a threatening glare in her eyes as she whispered sweetly, "I don't recommend finishing that sentence brother." Bright green flashed in her eyes, as the Drakaina flashed to the surface.

Stifling his laughter Lucifer surrendered, after all teasing her of being old was not suitable considering her rebirth situation. Elijah watched as the two bickered, with a peculiar expression, it was really hard to imagine the devil in such a lighthearted manner. But then again, when did appearances speak the truth in their world?
