~Eva's POV~
It was nice to be out of Mystic Falls for once, especially when it is Chicago that we've flown to.
I sat on the old wooden table inside the warehouse swinging my legs carelessly as I watched Niklaus and Elijah apprehensively, wondering whether waking up the whole lot of them was the correct decision.
While I may know of a possible future the real world does not particularly work like a book already written. A soft sigh escaped me at the thought of Finn. The vampire while not wholly evil, I did not know whether he would follow along with his mother's plans this time around too. The man was too much pained having lied in a dark box for centuries. Niklaus sure knows how to torment his siblings albeit unknowing of the consequences.
Even Sage the only vampire he'd bothered to turn had not been able to sway him from his suicidal thoughts. Then there was Rebekah and Kol who were the complete opposite of their oldest brother.
But despite all my troubling thoughts and doubts, I did not stop Elijah and Niklaus from waking them up, I encouraged them even. Because I knew I had no right to decide on anyone's fate, especially for those I've not met yet.
I just hoped that it would turn into a disaster. And since Stefan and Damon were not on the Mikaelsons' bad side this time at least none of them were going to die.
Speaking of my two other mates I wondered what they are up to since after everyone came back from their designated tasks yesterday I've not seen the two.
"Elijah, ready?" Niklaus's question brought my attention back to the Mikaelsons. The two brothers stood in front of the now opened coffins containing the rest of the Mikaelson family and Elijah gave his brother a curt nod before moving forward grasping the dagger resting in Kol while Niklaus moved towards Rebekah.
Together they heaved the silver weapons out stepping back to wait so that their siblings would wake up. Elijah then removed the dagger from Finn too and Niklaus quickly flashed to him before taking the daggers from his grip a smirk dancing on his face as he once again held all the offending in his grip.
Shaking his head at Niklaus's predictable behavior Elijah walked next to me away from his wayward brother.
"Oh don't be so glum. You knew I was not going to just hand them all over to you." Niklaus taunted a careless expression resting on his face.
"Yes, I've had quite the time to get used to your atrocious behavior." Elijah snarked back making me giggle at their banter and both of them turned to me giving smiles of their own.
Our messing around was halted by the sound of two awakenings gasps, the three Mikaelson siblings shotting up in their coffins looking straight at us. And from there it was a losing fight on their side as Elijah and Niklaus easily subdued them. When finally the warehouse once again became quiet I cleared my throat gaining their attention.
"You all done?" I asked amusement lacing my voice as I looked at them still sitting on that table.
The siblings all at once stopped their squabbling and hurtful words turning to look at me noticing there was another person in the room.
"Eva..." Niklaus started just as Kol sped towards me looking at me intently him standing rather closer than necessary causing my mates to growl in annoyance.
"You are real." The younger Mikaelson whispered then looking at me in something akin to awe.
"You know me?" I asked confused my eyes searching Elijah's and Niklaus's in question just as Kol shook his head.
"No, but I've heard about you and seen you in my mind once upon a time," Kol explained before taking my hand in his hand placing a chaste kiss bowing in respect.
