It was still early and Marcel was in no hurry to leave for the party just yet. And the special guest who had thought to grace him with her presence sealed the fact more so.

"Sabine, what can I do for you?" Marcel leaned back in his chair tipping his chin at the witch so that she would talk.

Sabine sneered inwardly at the vampire's pretentious display but still got straight to the matter.

"I've heard you've been searching for someone these few days. Rumors say it's a person far more powerful than anyone ever seen." Her statement just received an unimpressed stare from Marcel. But his heart jumped at the possibility, that maybe the witch knew something he did not.

"I'll tell you her identity, in return, you help me," Sabine said straight out. She knew the Drakaina was a threat to Marcel for her power was something he could not control and it was the same for her too.

All this time she'd kept her identity of Celeste a secret, biding her time to strike at the most opportune time. But from the information, she'd received from the ancestors about the Drakaina she knew it was not going to be a secret anymore.

"What do you need?"

"I want the Mikaelsons out of the town, as soon as possible." She stated a hint of loathing flashing in her eyes.

Marcel narrowed his eyes at her repulsive of the thought. He did not want the Mikaelsons out of the town instead he just wanted them defeated. He wanted to have the upper hand this time. But still, he promised and the winning smile spread across his face hid the deception hidden under.

"What is the plan?"

"Everything will come to an end today. Be ready tonight, my kind will take action then." Sabine informed, her lips too curling into a smile at the success. While inwardly rolling her eyes at the confident 'KING' of New Orleans.

Indeed, everything would come to an end today. And New Orleans just might have a new ruler.

The gentlemen roamed the premises welcoming the guests while the ladies did the final touch-ups. Their entry was scheduled a tad later and before that the men made sure everything was orderly so that their loved one would not be in any danger, despite the women being much fiercer than them at times.

"So I heard the imbecile who hurt my lovely mate is making an appearance?" The inquiry made Klaus avert his eyes awkwardly while feeling inwardly smug having finally made the invincible bastard uncomfortable. Because Barak's displeasure regarding the matter was plenty obvious.

"Indeed, but don't worry mate, it is just an old lover after all." Klaus patted Barak on the shoulder showing his concern, the fakeness of the gesture not lost on Barak.

But obviously, he did not have the luxury to quibble with Klaus for his mind was occupied with something else.

"Yes, an old lover who is also her other mate. Nothing to worry about indeed." Barak smiled tightly before staring at the entrance waiting for the said man to appear while Klaus stealthily moved away feeling accomplished, his smile of victory on display for everyone to see.

Elijah who had been watching this sighed shaking his head at his younger brother's ever-present pettiness. "Sometimes I wonder whether he is 1000 years or just merely 10," Elijah muttered making Stefan and Kol who had been standing next to him chortle.

"Dear, eldest brother when have you seen him act anything like a mature being? Under all that blood and gore is always a temper tantrum which does not lose to a toddler." Kol jeered receiving a cold glare from Klaus who had been listening from the opposite side of the room.
