Back at the party, it was Kol who noticed his mate's disappearance first. At first, he'd thought she'd just wondered away to take a breather but as time passed without her reappearance Kol started to panic. Worst of all even after scoring the whole plantation, there was no sign of her.

"What could have happened to her? Whoever it is that did this I'm going have his heart for dinner tonight!" Kol growled out anger getting the best of him.

After they found Caroline's disappearance the few of them had gathered in a room leaving Stefan and Damon to hold the fort outside.

Eva shot a look at Elijah motioning him to calm Kol down while she readied to do a locator spell.

"Kol your blood." Eva requested and the male hurried to provide, knowing to be assistive at the moment. As the droplets of blood fell on the map in front of her, Eva's chant began. Greek falling from her lips, eyes turning a brilliant green as her pupils vertically elongated.

The drops of blood struggled to move as if an unknown force was hindering its movements, holding them back. Eva increased the intensity of her magic, swatting at the annoying hindrances, and with a disgruntled wail the force disappeared allowing the spell to take form and the location was something very much familiar to the Mikaelson family.

"Marcel!" Kol growled ready to storm out, only Klaus's strength keeping him in check. "Now is not the time to assert your dominance brother, my mate is in danger and the vermin who is responsible for it is outside. Let me go before I fight my way out." Anger seeped through the younger Mikaelson's words and for once Klaus did not take offense.

"It is not only who is incensed. We will rescue Caroline but something tells me Marcel has something else up his sleeve this time so listen to me and stop before you go and march into whatever trap they have laid." Klaus forced Kol to listen as Eva and the other watched worriedly.

"I will go talk to him." Rebekah proposed but Barak immediately shook his head, not willing to let her be in danger.

And it was at this time that a figure rushed into the room.

"Sophie? What's the matter?" Eva questioned looking at the troubled witch.

"Some of the witches are rebelling and I'm sure they are up to something. But the rest of us cannot seem to find out. The ancestors have deserted the rest of us except for the select few."

"What is this? Vampires and witches working together, great!" Klaus muttered sarcastically getting angry as everything seem to get out of his control.

"I've changed my mind. Waiting will not do anything." He exclaimed before speeding away from the room before anyone could stop him. And following him was Kol who flashed a triumphant smirk to the rest.

Marcel had no time to react when he got slammed to the wall a hand squeezing around his throat. And he was not surprised to find his sire as the attacker.

"Klaus," He hissed out amidst the tightening around his throat. "What is the meaning of this?"

Hearing this Klaus let out a bark of laughter, by now all attention on them, the music long been stopped.

"Now, if this had been another time I would have indulged you with this game of guess, but currently I'm in a hurry, hence I do not have time." With that the younger vampire's neck was snapped, his followers stepping forward menacing growls forming their throats.

But it was not anyone they were trying to scare.

And the vampires did not get to move much for they were soon stuck in their places invisible shackled seeming to form around them. Eva stood next to Elijah, nonchalant as if it was not her doing.
