~Eva's POV~

Looking around me I momentarily felt dizzy. On one side was the enemy's faction holding my mates hostage, strange manacles binding their wrists, and from the way they were struggling it seemed to bind their vampire strength.

The leader was a blonde-haired woman and like every one of the guardian warriors she was beautiful, but as her eyes regarded me I could find intense flames of jealousy, hatred, and discontent in them.

I've not seen her in my entire life and I could not understand what had prompted such emotions from her.

Then there were the ones with Alexandros, their eyes the complete opposite of the girl, holding light and hope upon witnessing me. And now as they fought I could not help but turn, my mind feeling fuzzy at the strange situation.

I was originally not from this world and just years ago all this was something I witness through television. Actors playing their designated roles, and upon arriving here, almost everything had been under my control.

Then I'd got to learn about the Lastra doppelgangers, Guardian Warriors, and the multiple dimensions. As I looked around once again eyes falling on my struggling mates, I finally understood that it was not an already predictable world anymore, it was reality, it was tangible and the feelings of utter terror and fear were all real.

While I'd known the facet already it was at this moment that everything finally sunk in.

There was nothing in the world that one could absolutely control. There were always variations, so drawing strings like a puppeteer was just a fanatical belief.

So for the first time, I let go of my mind and let all of that are my feelings in, encasing and bathing my heart with different emotions. Hate, Fear, Lust, Agony, and finally Love.

I let it all in, the black box of ignored feelings and emotions burst open making me feel everything I'd ignore so far, from a ten-year-old child to being almost eighteen years old.

'...Come out of your shell, embrace yourself Your people need you, your mates need you...'

Alexandros's words echoed in my ears, a strange sense of pride burning in my chest as his words roared in a loop.

The expectations he held, the duty I had, it was all unknown but I felt them in my bones.

And just like that, I felt myself free from all the restrictions, feeling free and whole forever.

And hence my head tilted back laughter bursting out of me, letting my emotions reign free.

~3rd POV~

Alexandros and his army of warriors breezed through the enemies, hacking at the bodies with their powers and weapons, they too in return getting inflicted with injuries.

This sudden development had been long since coming. The rebelling forces finally unable to witness their queen once again coming to power had put down their foot ready to fight their way through everything.

And so when Esther Mikaelson woke from the dead with the help of the witches of the other side, the little girl fantasizing about being a second Drakaina jumped at the chance to descend to the mortal world with her measly army by linking herself to Esther when she was resurrected.

And hence Alexandros and the rest had no choice but to follow closely behind to hinder at every moment.

They knew there would be consequences, for bringing along a large number of Guardian warriors to the mortal world at the same time was a punishable crime.
