~Damon's POV~
The ride to the Bennet witch's house was fun. Eva was a very lively girl but with an air of mystery surrounding her beautiful self.
"So before we accidentally dragged you here, you were at your sister's wedding?"I asked, now understanding her attire this morning.
"Yeah, she had just left when it all went into chaos." She spoke, sadness evident in her tone.
It did not take a genius to understand that she missed her family.
"Everything will work out." I murmured softly. It was the only thing I could tell.
But in return she gave me a bright smile, " I hope so. And Damon... thank you for helping me."
For a moment I couldn't breathe, staring at the beautiful vision in front of me.
Those enchanting green eyes staring back at me with so much trust made me almost believe I was not an emotionless psychopath.
Giving her a small smile I looked front hoping to focus on the road. But my mind whirled bringing in stupid thoughts.
'What the hell are you doing Damon?' I wondered to myself irritated with the whirlwind of emotions the girl was bringing out of me.
I was not supposed to run around with a strange girl, no, I was supposed to open the tomb and free Katherine so I could have my happily ever after. Like Stefan was doing.
But I was not sure either of us was doing what is best for us.
Stefan dating the Katherine look-alike seemed more of a replacement and me trying to open the tomb, I did not know if that was I wanted anymore.
All this doubt, because of one girl whom I have only known for several hours.
Why? I had a vague idea, but I refused to acknowledge it.
I loved Katherine and after taking care of Eva's business I'm going to forget all about this, leave town and move on with my girl.
Minutes later I parked the car in front of the Bennet house. We both got out walking to the doorstep.
Keeping Eva behind me I rang the bell hoping the senior witch would not blast us away at the sight of me.
But Eva seemed to have other plans, for she moved from behind me to stand beside me giving me a look.
"I'll be fine." She said when she saw me looking at her.
Before I could lecture or say anything the door opened revealing Shelia Bennett. And with one look at me, she moved to close the door but I moved faster holding placing my hand onto it before speaking.
"We did not come for any trouble. Just hear us out will you?"
That was when her eyes landed on Eva who was standing next to me.
The witch froze her eyes widening.
"It's you... You are finally here." She whispered looking at Eva with disbelief snd elation both evident on her face.
"What-" Before I could speak the witch opened the door wide open before welcoming us in, even me.
"Thank you, Mrs. Bennet." Eva being the nice lady she was thanked the witch while I happily tagged along.
After we all sat down the witch questioned, "What is your name child? What brings you here at this late hour?"
"My name is Eva and Mrs. Bennet, we want your help." Bonnie's grandmother nodded urging her to continue.
