~Eva's POV~

After making sure everyone was in perfect condition after the dimension travel, we all retired home ready to take a well-needed rest. Especially Edward.

I could feel his discomfort for the new environment, unlike the lot of us who stepped into his world for a few days, he is about to live extensively, probably forever.

And since currently, he was dirt poor, Damon and Stefan lend him a hand allowing him to stay in the boarding house till he finds his way into this world. Finding Katherine would come later and I had a feeling the woman would not be able to stay away from all the excitement for long.

Padding across the hallway, tightening my night robe over my silk nighty I entered the parlor, the fire burning in the hearth keeping the place warm.

Sighing in contentment I sat on the chair in front of it my thoughts wondering to the moment when I found the dagger, Abbadon, it was its name I was sure of it.

What was so special about it? But I knew I would find out soon enough.

"You seem disturbed." The voice startled her making her slightly jump only to relax at the sight of its owner.

"I am. Tell me Alexandros, what is the real reason you sent us there?" I could feel suspicion dripping from my voice but I could not help it. Lies were not a very unfamiliar thing to me.

"You are distrustful of me," Alexandros stated seemingly not surprised by it.

"You will understand Evangelina." That was all he said and hearing the familiar words I felt something snap inside of me.

"I will understand?" I asked softly slowly rising from my seat to fully look at him, my eyes flashing in anger at his words.

"First you let Bonnie drag me to this world, then introducing yourself as my guardian, a guardian who was missing for almost eighteen years of my life. Then you refuse to reveal your connection to me, then you once again refuse to reveal my past to me. Now you even refuse to reveal your intentions of sending me and my MATES, to another dimension. What the bloody hell is wrong with you?!!" My voice increased as I went on, everything around me going out of control.

My emotions were in turmoil and after the incident with the dagger, I knew it was not what Alexandros implied. The dagger had something to do with me and he was not telling me straight.

"Evangelina, calm down..." Alexandros tried, he'd stepped back wary of my powers but his voice only served to aggravate me more.

Knowing I would completely lose control and bring upon a disaster if I did not stop I whispered to him my words light yet firm.

"Get out." But as always instead of listening, he decided to be stubborn.

"Evan-"

"GET. OUT." This time my shout reverberated through the hall making him stiffen and seeing I was not reconciled he vanished bowing his head in agreement.

With his leave I let myself sag the power which had been dancing around us vanishing.

I was so tired of his evasions and lies.

I hated it.

I loathed it.

It brought back memories of a time I so wished to avoid and forget.

Another man, a powerful man for a mortal one with his charming smiles, cold stares, and empty promises. Oh, how cruel it had all been.

"Eva my love, what happened?" It was Elijah who came upon me first Niklaus following behind, Damon and Stefan had gone to the boarding house, still with Edward.
