Chapter XXXVII

"Choke me like you hate me but you love me..." You whispered, humming, as you sliced the vegetables, "Lowkey wanna date me when you..."

"Fuck me."

"Oh god!" You exclaimed and you heard a baritone voice chuckle behind you, "Sir Daisuke! When did you get home?"

Daisuke is smiling in a really sexy way as he gives you a quick kiss in the temples making you smile as well. He took his coat off and let it hang in his arms while he's looking at you while you're preparing for dinner.

It's been weeks but you're still inside his suite. Your legs are bearable right now but Daisuke won't let you go out for some reason. He would always say that you need to rest, or you need to take care of yourself, he's giving you a lot of reasons and it is confusing you.

"How are you?" He asked in his usual calm manner, "Is it still painful?"

You shook your head disapprovingly, "Nope, I'm better now. See? I can walk normally," You chuckled, "What about you? Are you tired?"

"I feel fine." He stated, his voice making your knees weak.

You nodded, "Good, that's great! Oh, by the way, Sir, I need to go out tonight since I need to buy some meat and ingredients for our dinner. I think I—"

"I'll go buy the essentials." He started in a serious manner but you put the knife down and look at him.

"I haven't been able to go outside for weeks now, I miss the outside world."

"Hmmm. Sure you do," Daisuke whispers and goes near you while staring in your eyes, "But you can't yet."

You blink in confusion, "I can't yet? Is there something unwanted happening here, Daisuke?"

He didn't reply.

"Is my life in danger... again?" You asked in a mere whisper and you can't help but to think that it is somehow related to Dazai— to them.

"No." He replied.

You sigh and giggle as you give him a reassuring smile and kiss his lip quickly before turning around.

"Wait for me, Sir," You stated as you walk towards the door but you stopped when you realized something, "Oh, by the way, your voice sounds like Corpsehusband when you say the 'fuck me' thing. I love you, Boss."

Daisuke's gaze looks concerned but he sighs as he gives you a short nod.

"I'm coming with you."
