Beam's P.O.V.
After dinner we decided to stay in watching movies. I know the guys were worried about me. They've been keeping an eye on me all night. When it was nearing midnight everyone started to get sleepy. Phana and Ming were tired from walking around looking for me. Wayo mostly goes to sleep early so he was already half asleep with his head on Phanas shoulder. Kit was the only one beside me who didn't seem sleepy. Phana and Wayo were the first ones to leave the living room saying goodnight before heading upstairs. Soon Ming followed saying he was going to take a bath. That left me with Kit who turned to look at me.
"Are you going to yell at me again?" I asked and he smacked my arm.
"Stop it I was really worried you jerk." He said and I smiled. He was such a good friend.
"I already said I'm sorry." I said feeling guilty.
"Beam." He said turning to look at me seriously. I gulped waiting for him to continue. "What is wrong with you? You've been acting weird these past couple of days. You don't have to tell me but talk with someone. We are all here for you don't forget that." He said sincerely and I looked down.
"I'm sorry for making you worry. It wasn't my intention really. I'm going through something but I feel like I need to solve it on my own you know? I promise I'm ok though you don't have to worry." I said and he nodded. I could tell he was still worried but respected my privacy.
"Ok, just know that I will always be there for you when you need me. You can come to me anytime or if you need help call me I will come no questions asked ok?" He said and I nodded gratefully.
"Thank you Kit I will keep that in mind." I said and he smiled.
"Just don't disappear like that again or I will kill you when we find you!" He said and I laughed.
"I promise not to disappear again." I said and he looked at me for a second before nodding satisfied.
"Kit? You coming?" We heard Ming yell from upstairs.
"In a second." Kit yelled back. "If you need me you know where to find me." Said Kit and I nodded.
"I know, go already Ming is waiting for you." I said and with that he turned to leave. Having slept for most of the day I wasn't even a little bit tired. I put on another movie and got comfortable in the couch. I was about to go to my room to try to sleep when my phone rang. It was a text message. I picked up my phone and my heart started beating fast when I noticed it was from Forth.
-U awake?- Forth
-Yeah we slept until noon I am not even a little bit tired.- I texted back.
-great come meet me at the beach then.- Forth
-Now?- I asked rushing to my room to change.
-Yeah, hurry up.- Forth.
I looked at the time before stepping outside and notice it was already four in the morning. I started walking along the beach not seeing Forth anywhere. I felt someone hug me from behind and I jumped startled.
"Calm down is me." Forth said and I could feel his breath against my ear making me nervous.
"Why did you do that? You scared me!" I said holding my chest.
"Sorry you walked past me too quickly I was just stopping you." he said and I nodded getting out of his embrace before he gave me a heart attack.
"Why did you want me to meet you here? At four in the morning?" I asked confused. He looked away awkwardly for a second.
"Well you said you wanted to watch the sunrise but fell asleep so I thought we could watch it together today since we slept until late. Also as an apology because I heard from Lam and Park that they guys were worried and giving you shit about disappearing and I did heard your phone go off a couple of times but instead of answering I turned it off since I wanted to sleep." He said looking guilty.
"It's ok I probably wouldn't have heard it anyway." I said and he smiled.
"So, watch the sunrise with me?" he asked and I nodded. "Great, follow me." He said and I walked with him towards the house he was staying. There he had setup a blanket and some pillows on the sand. We walked over there and sat down. I was speechless. This felt like a date but I didn't want to get my hopes up. I turned to look at him but he was just looking at the waves. There wasn't much light though just the one coming from the back porch of the house. Everything was peaceful.
"Thank you, this is nice." I said.
"You're welcome, I was actually curious to see it since you mentioned it. Ive never even thought about watching the sunrise, its just one of the things that you know is there, happens every day but you never pay much attention to it. Then one day suddenly you get curious and realize that you've been missing out on something that could be great." He said and I nodded knowing the feeling all too well. Even if we weren't necessarily talking about the same thing.
"Yeah." I said.
"I brought another blanket for us to share since the night is cold." He said and I looked at him pulling out a big fluffy blanket. I got closer to him and he put it around us. I couldn't help but rest my head against his shoulder getting comfortable. The sky was getting lighter so the sun should be rising soon.
"This feels peaceful, we never really hang out like just the two of us. We are friends but never really that close you know? But still it isn't awkward or anything sitting here with you sharing this moment feels right? I don't know I'm just blabbering nonsense." I said feeling shy after talking without thinking it through first.
"Aww you don't need to be shy I get it. I feel comfortable around you too." He said putting an arm around my shoulder pulling me closer. Soon the sun started to rise and we were quiet mesmerized by the view. It was over quickly but we enjoyed it.
I expected him to leave after but he turned to talk to me again. I was starting to get sleepy but I didn't want to leave I wanted to spend as much time as I could with him. I remember fighting to stay awake to listen what he was saying but at some point I drifted off to sleep his voice becoming more faint with each passing second until I couldn't hear it anymore.
