Bodyguard (part 9)

Forth's P.O.V.

Park kept true to his word and helped out by watching Beam. He constantly gives me updates when I looked at him. He's a great friend honestly. I didn't drink much since I knew I will probably have to carry Beam home again today. I tried but I couldn't stop thinking about him. At least I'm not looking that would hurt more. Park says he hasn't kissed the girl or anything not sure that I believe him maybe he is trying to protect me. Anyway I held myself from looking at him. It was a while but he returned back to the table with her.

"Hey he is completely wasted. Can someone help me with him? I don't know where he lives." Said the girl and I looked at Beam holding on to her for dear life drunk as hell.

"Forth can help you, your his bodyguard right so you have to take him home." Said Kit and I have never wanted to punch him as much as right now.

"Who's Forth?" She asked and everyone pointed at me. I turned to look at her coldly.

"Oh you are Forth! Right! Here take him." She said kind of pushing him to me. I didn't have any option as to help him sit beside and position him so he was leaning against myself.

"Guess I will be going I need to take him home." I announced and everyone nodded and said their goodbyes. I looked at Park who smiled sadly at me I did the same walking away.

At least you didn't sleep with anyone I thought putting him on the passenger seat of his car. Thankfully he had left his car and apartments keys with me. I drove him home and of course I had to carry him to his room. The guards here know me already since they seen me carrying him. Sometimes they even help opening the door. After I set him down on the bed I took a towel to clean him a little and changed his clothes. It's not like I haven't seen him naked before so whatever. When I made sure he was ok and had some medicine in his night stand I left the apartment.

The next day I was completely shocked when Beam told me not to come over for lunch. Through the whole month we've been having lunch together every day. This is the first time he asks me not to come over. I should be relieved but there's only two days left and one of the things I enjoyed was lunch time with him. There I didn't have to worry about girls and no one approached to fight after the first few days so we were good. We chatted and ate it was good I'm gonna miss that. But whatever I walked to what used to be my usual table here at engineering. To my surprise a sulking Park was there eating alone.

"Where's Lam?" I asked and he was startled hearing me making him jump a little.

"Asshole you scared me. Lams not here." He said and I rolled my eyes.

"No shit, I have eyes idiot." I said and he sighed sadly.

"He's doing a group project with some girls. I wanted to be in his group but Max picked me first. Now he has lunch with the girls to discuss the project leaving me alone." He explained.

"Ohhh well you insisted on taking that extra class so you brought that on yourself." I joked but Park just continued to play with his food sadly. "Damn you look like you lost your soul." I said taking a bite of my food. I looked at him for a second before I finally realized. "Oh no, don't tell me what I'm thinking it's true." I said and Park turned to look at me surprised.

"What asshole?" He said but I could tell he was nervous. I couldn't help but laugh.

"Oh God Park please don't tell me you have feelings for Lam?" I asked and he instantly turned red. "Shit you like Lam?!? You really like Lam." I said loudly and Park turned white as a ghost.

"Fucking lower your voice before I kill you here asshole." He warned looking around nervously I just laughed.

"Wow man I'm sorry. That must be though man." I said. Now that the laughter was over I was sad for him. I know a thing or two about unrequited love.
