I want you for myself (part 9)

Beam's P.O.V.

I've been hanging out with Forth a lot more. He comes everyday for lunch. Sometimes he brings Park and Lam. Sometimes he comes alone. Our friend group has expanded thanks to that. When Forth comes with Park and Lam, Phana, Wayo, Ming and Kit usually join too. So now we are one big group. I often hang out with Forth just the two of us. But lately we have been running into Phana and Wayo a lot. Which kind of annoys me a little because that means that Forth and Wayo have gotten closer. Just when I'm building up the courage to confess I feel like both Phana and Wayo get in the middle and I end up chickening out. Like right now I was going to the movies with Forth and we bumped into Wayo and Phana at the mall. Now they have joined us and Wayo is talking animatedly with Forth. Which bothers me.

"Why do you look like you want to kill someone?" Asked Phana standing beside me with the popcorn he went to buy.

"Because I want to." I replied and he laughed.

"Stop with your jealousy you two are just friends." He said and I rolled my eyes.

"Shouldn't you be jealous?" I asked looking at him with an eyebrow raised. He just shrugged.

"Nah." He said and I turned to look at him. He's usually possessive.

"Something wrong?" I asked but he shook his head.

"I don't know. It's like I've wanted to be with him for so long and now that I have him is not what I expected? But we'll see." He said and I got worried. Not only for his relationship but what it could mean. Forth may have an opportunity with Wayo now. Would he want it?

"Hey everything ok?" Asked Forth approaching me. I just smiled and nodded. He was about to ask something else when Phana interrupted.

"The movie is about to start we should head inside." He said walking and I just followed him. Forth was walking beside me.

When we got inside Phana was the first to seat then Wayo. I looked at Forth waiting to see which seat he would choose. I was expecting him to seat beside Wayo leaving me at the edge beside him. So I was pleasantly surprised when he didn't, leaving me to sit in between Wayo and him. I turned to look at him after I sat and he just smiled at me which I returned. During the movie we didn't talk much but he was playing with my hand and then he grabbed it and squeezed it. We didn't talk much during the movie but I felt reassured by his gestures. When the movie was over we walked out of the theater and I was feeling happy again.

"Should we grab something to eat?" Asked Phana and before I could answer Forth beat me to it.

"Actually I wanted to spend a bit of time with Beam. Just the two of us. It's been a while since we hung out just the two of us." He said and they nodded.

"Ok then see ya." Said Phana walking away with Wayo.

"You don't mind right?" Asked Forth once they left.

"Not at all I was hoping to spend time with you too." I said and he smiled.

"Let's go then. You want to eat something?" He asked.

"Sure, what do you have in mind?" I asked. He smirked.

"A lot of things but let's focus on the food." He said and I felt my face heating up.

"How about the noodle shop that's close to here." I said changing the subject. He just let out a laugh.

"Sure." He said and we started walking to it. We walked over and I sat down while he ordered.

"Are you still shy because of what I said?" He said sitting in front of me. I felt the heat returning to my cheeks but I won't admit it.

"In your dreams Jaturapoom." I said and he laughed before smirking.

"In my dreams we'd be doing something else right now." He said and I smacked his arm.

"Stop it!" I said.

"No! I like making you shy. You look cute with a red face." He said and I just looked away not giving him the satisfaction of looking at my red face.

"Hey that's not fair!" He said reaching over and gently cupping my face in his hands making me look at him.

"Forth." I whispered noticing our faces were way too close.

"Beam." He said and I noticed how his eyes focused on my lips instead and I let out a soft gasp which made him look up again. This time it was my eyes that traveled to his lips. Before I could even realize what I did his lips pressed against mine. Once again I was being kissed by him and I enjoyed it. He sucked in my bottom lip making me breathless. When he pulled back I couldn't help but be disappointed. He just smiled leaning in again for a peck.

"Forth." I was about to question him when our food arrived. The girl looked at us with a big smile.

"You two make such a cute couple! Adorable! Enjoy the food!" She said before leaving. I didn't even have time to correct her. I looked at Forth who seemed unbothered and had actually started to eat. Eventually I just did the same without saying anything. As we made our way to the parking lot talking like we hadn't just kissed for the second time I wondered if I should say something.

"Beam." Said Forth turning to look at me seriously. I gulped.

"Forth?" I said confused.

"Would you want to go on a date with me? A proper one not us just hanging out like we usually do." He said and I was dumbfounded.

"Seriously?" I asked and he looked nervous.

"Yeah I wouldn't joke about that. But it's ok if you don't want to we could just stay friends like now. Without me stealing kissed tho." He started to ramble and I stopped him.

"I want to." I said and he looked both surprised and relieved.

"Yeah? Tomorrow then?" He asked and I nodded.

"Sure!" I said a little too excited but he didn't seem to notice.

"Great! I will pick you up tomorrow!" He said and I nodded. "I need to go now but I will text you the details!" He said and started to walk away after I nodded again. He took a couple of steps before returning and giving me one last kiss. This is officially one of the best nights ever!
