Beam's P.O.V.

The date with Forth went better than I expected. The awkwardness faded away once I realized how comfortable he was around me. Part of me thought that he was going to act differently in public. The whole getting to know each other part was done by taking care of the other when sick. There we were, alone in our own little bubble. So, I didn't know what to expect when being out in public, even if it was a date. I guess some part of me thought he was going to hide that we were dating. But it was me getting in my own head. He was just as caring as when we were alone. That gave me confidence, and we spent the rest of the date in the mall, not caring if anyone saw us. When Forth drove me home, I asked him to stay, and we've been together ever since.

Now, don't get me wrong, we weren't hiding we were together. Those idiots just hadn't realized. They leave every day to have lunch with their partners, so by the time Forth comes, they have already left. We like it like that no one bothers us, and eventually they will realize. For now, we are just enjoying. I see Forth walking towards me, and I instantly smile. He kisses me before settling down beside me.

"How has your day been?" He asks, and I sigh.

"Could be better. We had a quiz this morning that took us by surprise. I think I did pretty good, but I don't know." I said.

"I'm sure you did well." He said, and I rolled my eyes.

"You have too much faith in me. But how's your day been?" I asked, and he shrugged.

"It's been ok. Park and Lam are nagging, as always. We are almost done with our project. In fact, I think we will have it done today, so that means I probably won't see you until tomorrow." He said, and I nodded.

"It's ok. After that, I'll have you all to myself." I said, and he pulled me closer.

"Damn right about that." He said, stealing a kiss.

"I'll go buy us some food before lunch is over." I said, standing up, but Forth grabbed my wrist.

"I already ordered when I came in. You were so lost in thought you didn't even see me." He said, and I laughed. "I will be back in a second. It must be ready I'll pick it up." He said, standing up and walking to where you picked up the orders. I grabbed my phone to entertain myself in the meantime. I was interrupted a few seconds later.

"Are you serious?" Said Phana, and I looked up, frowning at him.

"What?" I asked, and he pointed towards where Forth is, I'm guessing. "We're boyfriends." I said nonchalantly. I saw Kit's eyes widen.

"Don't even try to hide it, Beam Baramee. You two have been acting suspicious for a long time..." There was a pause in Phana's speech before he continued. "What did you say?" He asked, looking at me as if I'd grown another head.

"He is my boyfriend." I said slowly, and he glared at me.

"Damn right, he is! But we already knew that we came to confront you because you were hiding it, right, Kit." Said Phana, and Kit nodded.

"Yeah, why didn't you say anything!" Said Kit, and I laughed.

"I don't know we didn't hide it we just didn't say anything either."

"You two are so fucking weird." Said Phana, sitting down. "I already have a headache." He said, and I laughed. At that moment, Forth returned with the food sitting beside me.

"What are you guys talking about?" Asked Forth, and Phana glared at him.

"About you two not saying anything! We almost had a heart attack when we saw you kissing." Said Phana exasperated.
