Bodyguard (part 2)

Beam's P.O.V.

It was lunch time. I already had my food and I was sitting down at my usual table with Phana and Kit. Forth still hasn't arrived. I looked at my phone to see if there was a text or something but there was nothing. As I started eating I contemplated texting him. I decided against it and focused on my lunch. A couple of minutes later he sat down in front of me with a huff. He seemed annoyed and I smirked.

"You are late." I said.

"You are lucky I even came." He replied coldly. Phana and Kit were just looking at us dumbfounded.

"What's happening here?" Asked Phana and I smiled.

"Forth here made a bet with me yesterday and lost. So now he has to be my bodyguard for a whole month and beat up any annoying idiot ex boyfriends away from my sight." I said and they both laughed. Forth was super annoyed now glaring at me.

"It seems instead of protecting you he wants to kill you." Said Kit and I laughed.

"I should've let them beat you yesterday." He said.

"Aww come on cheer up we are going to have fun. Tonight we are going to the bar." I said.

"Whatever, why do you want me here at lunch anyway. Phana is here no one is going to fight you?" He asked and I shrugged.

"Im making use of my time." I smirked and he staid quiet after that texting someone. I was half way done with my meal when I noticed Forth wasn't eating anything. "Did you already have lunch?" I asked and he turned to look at me.

"No, I will eat something later." He replied.

"Is it because of me?" I asked feeling a little guilty.

"No." He said and that was the end of it. As time for lunch was almost over we received an email that our last class was canceled. I said my goodbyes to Phana and Kit and left with Forth following behind to the parking lot.

"Are you mad at me or something?" I asked turning to look at him.

"No, just a little annoyed." He said.

"Come on I would've done whatever you asked if you had won." I said and he rolled his eyes.

"You went a little overboard though like seriously I have to follow you around for a month." He complained.

"Oh please if you'd won and asked to sleep with me. Would you have asked for it to be once only." I said looking at him and for the first time today he smiled.

"Of course the second time you would've begged for it." He said coming closer trapping me with his hands on both sides of my car which I was leaning against and I let out a laugh.

"Yeah right anyways should we meet at the bar or..." I said pushing his chest to make some distance between us.

"What you want me to pick you up too?" He asked raising an eyebrow.

"I meant if you wanted me to pick you up idiot." I said.

"Let's just meet there." He replied and I nodded getting in my car.

"I will see you tonight at eight at our usual bar. Don't be late." I said walking away.

The rest of the day was pretty uneventful. I basically did nothing until it was time to get ready. I got dressed and looked at myself in the mirror to make sure everything looked good. I focused on my lip which that idiot hit yesterday. The cut was barely visible since he didn't hit me that hard thankfully. You could barely notice it if you weren't standing close to me. After making sure I looked good I grabbed my wallet and keys before leaving my apartment. I arrived at the bar five minutes after eight. Forth was already there waiting for me.

"You said to be on time yet you are the one who's late." said Forth when I got out of my car.

"You were late for lunch so you cant talk." I said starting to walk. As we were getting closer to the door I noticed the same guys as yesterday standing near the door. They were glaring at me and I noticed their intention was to approach me until they noticed Forth beside me. I smirked when they backed off. Just a day in and he's already working wonders. Forth noticed me staring at the guys with a smirk.

"Stop being cocky after the month is over you will be on your own again." he said and I glared at him.

"Asshole let me enjoy it." I said and he shook his head.

"What are you five?" he asked and I ignored him looking for a table. I didn't want to seat in Forth's usual table because then no one would approach us. Finally I found one and walked towards it. "Our usual table is free." he said and I rolled my eyes.

"It's always free, you are the only ones who sit there. No one would dare to take that table from you gang is a death wish. If we seat there no girls would dare approach." I said.

"So what? you don't have to wait for them to make the first move you stand up and go flirt with her." said Forth.

"Nah I prefer it my way." I said. I called the bartender to order some beers.

"Get over with it quickly I don't want to be here all night. As soon as you pick someone I'm out." he said.

"You're a party pooper. Let's have a few drinks first." I said passing a beer to him which he took. We started drinking while I kept an eye on the girls. There were a few that had my attention. Forth didn't seem to be looking for anyone. It wasn't long before a girl approached me and we ended leaving for the rooms upstairs. I told Forth he could leave since I wasn't expecting him to wait for me while I did my business with the girls. He just nodded and I walked away.
