Forth's P.O.V.
Beam was really in a hurry since he was nowhere to be seen already and only a minute has passed. So I walked into the lobby and headed for the front desk to see if someone could pass it on to him. As soon as the woman turned to look at me her eyes widened.
"Mr. Jaturapoom how can I help you?" She asked and I looked at her confused.
"Do I know you?" I asked trying to remember if I knew her from somewhere. She just laughed.
"No sir. I don't personally know you." She said and I was even more confused.
"Ok... I just gave a ride to Beam and he left this bag accidentally." I started to explain but she cut me off.
"No need for explanations Mr. Jaturapoom here's your key card for the penthouse. Mr. Baramee already instructed us to let you in whenever you came." She said and to say that I was shocked was an understatement.
"He said to let me in? Right now?" I asked wanting some answers. She looked at me weirdly.
"We were instructed to give you a key since the first time you came in." She said slowly as if she was speaking with a child.
"Oh." I said trying to process what you say.
"If you need anything don't hesitate to ask Mr. Baramee should be able to join you shortly." She said and I nodded grabbing the key card.
I contemplated for a second if I should go up. Would he even want me there? But I needed some answers. So I headed to the elevator and made my way into the penthouse. It felt a little weird considering the last time I was here. I put the bag on the kitchen counter then sat down on the couch looking at the view just like last time. I remember Beam getting drunk because I found out about his feelings. He was so hurt that day it pains my heart. As I was lost in thought I heard the elevator door open and Beam walking in. He seemed frustrated.
"Damn it I'm such an idiot. I couldn't find a better excuse." He said kicking his shoes to one side and walking straight to the kitchen. He stopped when he saw the bag and just stared at it for a second before looking around and spotting me. His eyes widened for a second then he looked away and cleared his throat. "What are you doing here?" He asked.
"You left the bag and I went to leave it at the front desk. The woman there seemed to know who I was and just gave me a key." I said and he just walked straight to the liquor cabinet. "Shit." I heard him mutter and I just smiled.
"I can leave if you want." I said standing up. He had two glasses in hand.
"Stay, I'll bet you will have some questions for me. Or did you already figured it out too." He said focusing on pouring the whiskey not looking at me.
"You don't seem too happy seeing me here. I don't want to bother you." I said walking towards him.
"I just...why are you here Forth?" He asked and his eyes told me how vulnerable he was in this moment.
"It's been a long time since I last saw you." I said.
"Do you remember our last conversation?" He asked and I gulped.
"Yes as if it was yesterday." I said and he sighed.
"Then why did you show up? At my faculty and here?" He asked accusingly.
"It's been half a year Beam." I said and he glared at me.
"So what?" Beam asked. He was wary of everything but I expected that much.
"I kept my promise. I stayed away from you. I didn't bother you or tried to see you. I did exactly as you told me."
"Then why are you here now?" He looked at me accusingly.
