Chasing you (part 7)

Forth's P.O.V.

I got ready to go on my date with Beam. Park and Lam were already at the mall doing some shopping. Also they were around in case Beam got too mad that is just us both for dinner. So they could join us in case. But I'm hoping that won't happen. I left early to pick him up so I walked towards his apartment. I knocked twice before he opened the door.

"What are you doing?" He said grabbing me and pulling me inside.

"What?" I asked confused.

"I didn't expect you to come over here! Kit lives next door." He said and I shrugged.

"We are hanging out what's weird about that?" I asked and he just stared at me.

"Whatever next time just wait for me in the parking lot." He said walking to grab his things and I grinned.

"So there will be a next time then?" I asked and he turned around quickly to look at me wide eyed.

"No! I mean I don't know! Whatever! I am telling you just in case!" He huffed walking past me. He opened the door and looked around for a second. "Let's go." He said and I followed him.

"Hey Kit!" I said when the elevator doors opened. Beam looked white as a ghost.

"Hi... it's weird seeing you two together. It's been a long time. Where are you going?" He asked and Beam answered before I could.

"To have dinner and then a movie. Park and Lam are joining us." He said quickly.

"Ohhh and they only invited you?" Asked Kit looking at me with and eyebrow raised. Beam turned to look at me too.

"Right? Why was I the only one invited?" He said and I shrugged.

"The day I invited you it was only you at the meds table. You can come if you want though." I said hoping he wouldn't. I already thought this through just in case tho.

"I am a bit hungry." He said and I sighed sadly. Kit then laughed before he kept talking. "But Ming is coming over soon so maybe another time." He said and I was relieved. Kit patted me on the back before snickering and leaving.

"Ok then let's go." I said to Beam who followed me but seemed lost in thought. We reached the mall and I took him to a sushi restaurant that just opened up.

"I've heard about this place I've been wanting to come!" He said excited and I smiled.

"Well that's good." I said walking in after him. They sat us down at a table and Beam instantly started looking at the menu excitedly. Seems like he didn't notice we are missing Park and Lam. I was relieved. I picked up the menu and started browsing.

"Hey Forth." Said Beam after a while and I looked at him.

"Hmm." I said still thinking about what to eat.

"Where's Park and Lam?" He asked. Shit! I thought.

"They are joining us for the movie." I said being already prepared for the question.

"Why?" He asked confused tilting his head to the side a bit.

"They weren't hungry. They are in the mall though so I can ask them to join us if you want?" I said hoping he wouldn't.

"No, it's ok I guess." He said and I nodded. I thanked God the waiter came and took our order at that moment. Beam became excited about the food again and started ordering food. We were talking and laughing and just having a good time in general. I was happy. The food came and everything looked good and Beam was excited. For the first few minutes none of us talked we just enjoyed the food.
