A smirk appears on Helbindi's face when he takes his gaze from me and looks towards the King in his true Jotun form. He begins his descent down the steps towards us.

Helbindi: "So the great King Loki of Asgard, Allfather to the nine realms and famed God of Mischief is a frost giant runt? Am I to understand that the Casket of Ancient Winters was not the only thing that Odin stole from Jotunheim that day?"

Loki: "It would appear not".

Helbindi: "Do not trouble yourself with these matters, runt. I will soon be taking the casket and my mate far from this realm".

Loki: "No. Anya is also marked by me and by Jotun law you must defeat me in battle before you touch her".

Helbindi: "I will not kill you, Allfather. I will simply leave you for dead, take what is mine and force you to watch while you are powerless to stop me"

Me: "Helbindi, that is enough!"

Helbindi: "You dare speak to me that way? Come now and I will kill him quickly. If you continue to refuse then you will leave me no choice but to make him suffer before his death. You will spend the rest of your days on Jotunheim begging me to grant you the same fate, I can assure you I will not be so kind".

Me: "I will never be yours".

Helbindi: "I am the heir to throne and I will have what is rightfully mine!"

Loki: "You will not, brother. I am King Laufey's first born son and the rightful heir to the throne of Jotunheim".

The King cautiously conjures two daggers behind his back while Helbindi advances towards him with a large axe made entirely of ice.

With a mighty swing of his axe, he is caught off guard when it passes through the King and he quickly disappears in a flash of green magic.

Helbindi: "Sorcery will not help you, runt".

Helbindi winces with pain when a dagger plunges into his back. The King reappears, now casually sitting upon the steps behind him pretending to yawn.

Loki: "Baby brother, do let me know when the fighting starts" he mocks him before disappearing again.

Helbindi holds his axe tightly as he waits for the King to reappear once more, when yet another dagger impales him in the arm.

Loki: "Just admit defeat now and leave with a little dignity" he laughs, seemingly nowhere to be seen.

Helbindi pull the dagger out of his arm and tosses it aside. He remains silent for a few seconds before lunging forward and reaching at nothing but air.

To my horror, the King reappears in Helbindi's grasp with his hand now tightly wrapped around his throat. The dagger in his hand having been so close to fatally stabbing Helbindi through the heart.

Helbindi: "My apologies, brother, for this brief yet unpleasant reunion, but I have a casket to take and a whore to bed".

I can see the look of panic in the King's eyes while he struggles for breath, so I quickly scramble across the floor and pick up the dagger that Helbindi had discarded from his arm, forcing it deep into his stomach.

When I pull it back out, he swiftly drops the King and his axe to the ground.

He now has his sights set entirely on me. I back away from him before bumping into a marble podium behind me, which causes me to drop the dagger accidentally.

Helbindi: "You are mine".

Me: "No" I state firmly as I reach for the relic behind me.

I find myself holding the casket in my hands and aiming it directly at the monster in front of me. He stops in his tracks and takes a couple of steps back with a menacing smirk.

Helbindi: "I hope you know how to use that, runt. There is no valiant man here to save you this time".

Me: "That was your first mistake, Helbindi. Always assuming you were the smartest one in the room".

A large ray of blue light beams forwards, encasing Helbindi in a thick layer of ice, but I know I must move quickly as it will not hold him there for much longer.

I walk past him with determination and pick up his axe from the ground, mustering all of my strength to take one powerful swing.

Me: "Your second was believing that I needed a man to save me".

As the axe collides with Helbindi's frozen body, he shatters into an infinite number of shards, therefore ending his reign of terror over me and the current threat to the people of Asgard.

I drop the axe and rush over to the King's side as he still lies there on the ground, not moving. I begin shaking him in a desperate attempt to wake him.

His skin has finally changed back to its normal pale shade, but he will not awaken. I hear footsteps running down the steps towards us soon after.

Thor: "What happened?" he asks upon kneeling down next to me.

Me: "He will not open his eyes" I cry, still not knowing what to do.

Thor picks up the King and takes him to the healing room while Lady Sif helps me to my feet to also escort me there.
