The black heart beats
Pulsates in your chest with vigour
Pumping black blood around your body
Black blood in every vein
You feel it's command
Calling you to wrongdoing
Creating new cravings never held before
Desire throbbing, adrenaline flowing
You cut out the black heart
You stand there, still alive
Black heart beating in your hands
And wonder how you're still breathing
