Title: Thursday
Thursday's Child, has far to go, to trot
Fifth day of the week if you're religious
Fourth day of the week if you're not
You could try to be more ambitious
Thursday Afternoon, I've wasted so much time
Thursday comes from Thuresday, which means "Thor's day"
Thunder and lighting, the bell's chime
So many days, you wish them away
Jersey Thursday, purple cloak of velvet to the sky
Throw me tomorrow, looking to the weekend
Friday's eve is here, no need to cry
Two days off from work, to mend
Mrs. Thursday can come to tea weekly
The week has been a long hard road
She sips from the cup so meekly
She'd never bait or goad
Thursday Morning ends another dream
But you make it to the end of the day
Night see's you enter a chemical stream
You get through the night this way
