When I want to break free from people's idea of who I am
The world keeps telling me no
When I try and succeed in my hopes, dreams and ambitions
The world keeps telling me no
When I decide to just keep my head down and play the game your way
The world laughs, and still keeps telling me no
So I'll stick to my guns, forge my way and hope that I'm the one who succeeds. I'll play the game, and smile away as the world keeps telling me no
